The recent blow that befell her show had many people in the production involved expressing their disgust over its fate. In front of NV, they seemed okay, but deep within, they were very disheartened knowing that the show was rating well. Reportedly, majority of the talents have also expressed disappointment towards NV for what happened. They assumed that something big must have bothered NV and the show became the sacrificial lamb.
Both PT and the show’s talents felt strongly about loss of income resulting from its unfortunate demise. While others secretly blame NV for being overtaken by her emotions, others also point to NV’s handler for allegedly being the one behind her drastic decision.
Right now, NV is reportedly asking for new terms on her contract. She would not be asking for an increase in talent fee but she wants 2 things:
1.Play or pay contract - meaning she will be paid for a project but if the project gets cancelled for some reason not of her doing, the she will still be paid the same contracted amount. If HN will not agree with play or pay, NV wants a non-exclusive contract.
2. NV’s teleserye timeslot should be on primetime, not in the afternoon or weekend programming. Primetime means program will be aired at reasonable time at least within 1st or 2nd program after the early evening news but not in the late hours.
HN has reportedly not yet responded to NV’s new terms. There are talks that should HN not agree to it, NV is certain of transferring network.

DeleteAng arte ha. SIya ba ang nangapital? SHe got paid for her work. The network gets to decide whats good for the business. They are the ones paying the employees and the production cost. They get to decide on what they think is the best for the time slot. Huwag masyadong mag-inarte. May kaniya kaniyang panahon ang artista.

ReplyDeletethe network gave her the title..so in a way, she has the right to make these demands...if my show was moved to the later timeslot, i would be pissed off too..i would think, "do they really value me?"....i guess she got insecure so she just wanted to cancel the show..and it made sense..it's better to end it and have the viewers screaming for more, vs having a show that really sucked (and got multiple extensions) then when you visit websites or talk to people randomly, you'd hear them say "why is that show still on??? end it now!!!"

DeleteAng hirap tanggapin but truth hurts. The fact na the network decided to move their time slot is a writing on the wall, you are no longer a bankable star like before. DeleteSana naisip ni J na sa ngayon di na lang iisang show ang bumubuhay sa sa isang network sa higpit ng kompetisyon. Nailipat ng timeslot? Anong takot dun kung super confident ka sa hatak mo na kahit saan ka pang ilagay na timeslot eh papanoorin ka? Sakop pa din naman ng primetime ang timeslot niya. Parang nakatulong nga din kasi at least kung ano man yung audience ng show niya eh andun nanonood talaga sa timeslot na nilipatan. Kung tingnan lang sana yung mas malaking picture na sila sila dapat na magka-network na nagtutulungan para mapalakas pa lalo yung station nila at lalong mas malaki kitaan. Kung mas malaki kita, eh mas madaming shows na pwedeng i-produce.

Pero I don't mind her conditions, ok lang naman yung guarantee or the play or pay contract since major talent naman si J. Since walang kasiguraduhan kung mag hit or flop ang shows nya, mautak ang kampo nya to push this.
