    3. . .i mean, bago naka buo ng story ang OTJ, nay A PROPHET na, so kinopya, PERIOD

Keep yourself informed before blabbing.. One more thing hindi for competition sa cannes, it was just an avenue for directors to showcase their work .. Again, do some research before commenting on a blog na as if you are so knowledgeable...

      Delete
  9. I saw it. It was so obvious. Director Matti adjusted the story and made it Pinoy. But the premise is exactly the same.

No connection. OTJ was in development before A Prophet was released. Although there are some resemblances in the poster art.

That's easy to say. I can do a movie about robots and say I thought of it before Pacific Rim or Transformers was released.

    1. Huh? OJT made it into the Cannes festival and you think those A-lister film makers will not whine if it's a copycat? It wouldn't even make it there kung matindi ang similarities.

Do yourself a favor, go and watch it nang makapanood ka naman ng movie na may sense.

    2. Totoo naman ang comment ni anon 12:21, hindi lang naman stsr cinema ang gumagaya sa international movies even gma films, regal, viva and the rest. . .and yes, naka pag screening sila sa cannes, so what? . .and anon 3:00 , sayo may sense yun OTJ, yup, may sense na kopya sa A PROPHET.

    3. Kung may sense ang OTJ bakit FLOP!

So orig yun!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ang labo mo, inspiration ni direk erik ang A PROPHET so nainspired syang gawin ang OTJ na kamukha ng A PROPHET.

    ReplyDelete
  26. OTJ is the best movie of 2013

    deal with it.

    ReplyDelete
Imitation!

  31. Quality film kaso panira dhil anjan c gherald. Isang malaking YUCK si gherald 😝

    ReplyDelete
  32. To me it doesn't really matter if it was copied or not. The quality of the movie speaks for itself. The plot may be common but the storytelling and the script are superb. Joel Torre will MOVE you. It is refreshing to see a Filipino movie which has depth and socially relevant.
One flaw is the love scene, which I think in unnecessary in the movie.
Sana more people will look past their personal bias on the stars and watch the movie with open mind. It truly is a must see.
