I used to be a fan of TGIS because of Uno and Angelu kaso ni-loveteam si Angelu kay Bobby hanggang sa mas nagustuhan ko na GIMIK because of Rico Yan, Jolina and Marvin.
i love both shows! i love G & diether sa gimik. TGIS, syempre si peachy and andrew..shed a tear when jake roxas' character died, the songs were senti! oh memories! hehe.

I feel so delighted and my heart beats faster whenever I reminisce of the TGIS days.., kilig much kina peachy and wax. I love kiko and even the 2nd cast of TGIS where dingdong and antoinette became a loveteam.., i really miss those days.
OMG! My childhood! Red Sternberg! IM NOT JEJE, BUT I LOVED TGIS LIKE I LOVED DAWSONS CREEK. TGIS was such a great show that it allowed its main stars to cross over to movies. Who can forget those Jaya themed-song movies starrying Bobby and Angelu? Damn. I LOVE LOVE LOVE TGIS. Classic.
TGIS talaga ang pinaka gusto ko when i was in college. Love JM and Rain. Wacks and Peachy. Cris and Micky. Mitch and KIko. Then ung sequel. Inyaki and Bianca.
Kapamilya ako pero mas nauna naman talaga yung TGIS at mas sikat yung show na yun noong 1990s. Parehong masa at mga sosyal din ay nakarelate sa show na yun. No offense, pero sobrang bakya ng Gimik, Juday at Jolina, hello!? Super baduy sila noon. Obviously si Rico ang panghatak ng sosyal sa Gimik, at magaling naman siya.
Si Lauren Dyogi talaga, kahit kailan gaya-gaya, siya ang direktor ng Gimik na ginaya ang TGIS ni Mark Reyes, at siya rin ang nanggaya ng Starstruck (na idea ni Direk Lino Cayetano noong nasa GMA pa sita) na ginawa niyang Star Circle Quest.
Yung domination ng VIVA sa GMA ay matindi noong 1990s - super sikat sina Donna Cruz, Vina Morales, Donita Rose, Regine Velasquez, Angelu de Leon, Joyce Jimenez, etc. Nakaungos na lang ang ABS-CBN noong mga 2000s up to present.
Gimik of course! Eh halos yung mga babae sa TGIS puro nagiging kahilera ni Osang at Anna Capri.. Rica naghubad, Angelu naghubad, Raven Naghubad, Ciara pa latay latay nalang sa pole... Wala kasing mapuntahan ang mga career. Eh sa Gimik daming versatile actress hanggang ngayon matatawag mo talagang actress. Buti nalang bumalik si Rica sa Star Magic kasi nung nag GMA siya..napariwara!
i love tgis. mas pang-teens ang story, hindi trying hard to be dramatic. mas fun pa mga characters nila. gmik kase parang pilit lang sila umarte na bata pa sila. i liked the next batch of gmik (camille pratts, etc.) than the original one

ReplyDeleteI feel so delighted and my heart beats faster whenever I reminisce of the TGIS days.., kilig much kina peachy and wax. I love kiko and even the 2nd cast of TGIS where dingdong and antoinette became a loveteam.., i really miss those days.

ReplyDeleteOMG! My childhood! Red Sternberg! IM NOT JEJE, BUT I LOVED TGIS LIKE I LOVED DAWSONS CREEK. TGIS was such a great show that it allowed its main stars to cross over to movies. Who can forget those Jaya themed-song movies starrying Bobby and Angelu? Damn. I LOVE LOVE LOVE TGIS. Classic.

ReplyDeleteKapamilya ako pero mas nauna naman talaga yung TGIS at mas sikat yung show na yun noong 1990s. Parehong masa at mga sosyal din ay nakarelate sa show na yun. No offense, pero sobrang bakya ng Gimik, Juday at Jolina, hello!? Super baduy sila noon. Obviously si Rico ang panghatak ng sosyal sa Gimik, at magaling naman siya.
ReplyDeleteSi Lauren Dyogi talaga, kahit kailan gaya-gaya, siya ang direktor ng Gimik na ginaya ang TGIS ni Mark Reyes, at siya rin ang nanggaya ng Starstruck (na idea ni Direk Lino Cayetano noong nasa GMA pa sita) na ginawa niyang Star Circle Quest.
Yung domination ng VIVA sa GMA ay matindi noong 1990s - super sikat sina Donna Cruz, Vina Morales, Donita Rose, Regine Velasquez, Angelu de Leon, Joyce Jimenez, etc. Nakaungos na lang ang ABS-CBN noong mga 2000s up to present.

ReplyDeleteGimik of course! Eh halos yung mga babae sa TGIS puro nagiging kahilera ni Osang at Anna Capri.. Rica naghubad, Angelu naghubad, Raven Naghubad, Ciara pa latay latay nalang sa pole... Wala kasing mapuntahan ang mga career. Eh sa Gimik daming versatile actress hanggang ngayon matatawag mo talagang actress. Buti nalang bumalik si Rica sa Star Magic kasi nung nag GMA siya..napariwara!

ReplyDeletei love tgis. mas pang-teens ang story, hindi trying hard to be dramatic. mas fun pa mga characters nila. gmik kase parang pilit lang sila umarte na bata pa sila. i liked the next batch of gmik (camille pratts, etc.) than the original one
