Let me share with you and your readers what I found out about the character of a highly paid young actress (HP). Like any social networking savvy person, I follow many celebrities and that young actress is one of them. Lately, a close friend told me that whenever I comment something negative in the account of HP, it gets immediately deleted. I thought that with so many followers posting comments and liking her photos, my comments would probably escape her eye.
In a spur of the moment, I wrote “Retokada” in one of HP’s uploaded photos. Immediately, her loyal fans started to fight with me. Then, their numbers increased, and I decided to delete all my other comments just so these fans would give me peace.
Well, I was sorry that I wrote those comments out of “trip lang.” Then, recently, I noticed that my account was already blocked. I was amused by this reaction on the part of HP or whoever maintains her account. I did not realize that HP and her camp could be so affected by “retokada.” So what, if HP were retokada? It’s noticeable, and yet she still denies it.
Anyway, I assume HP immediately blocks all her “haters” or even those who express opinions she finds disagreeable. It is funny that HP, despite being in showbiz for so many years (and has no plans of being in hiatus soon, I guess), is still not used to getting “criticisms” or having the “truth” told in public. Instead of getting used to the fact that celebrities are always exposed to negative criticisms, HP has grown more sensitive.

ReplyDeleteNo clue at all about the female celebrity, but I was taken aback by the letter sender's admission that he left a rather flamebaiting comment out of "trip lang". Regardless of whether there's a semblance of truth in it or not, shouldn't we exercise prudence when dealing with others, be they celebrities or ordinary folk? Whatever happened to that adage, treat others as you would have them treat you?

Tapos ngayon rerekla-reklamo ka. Kahit naman sino idedelete ang puna ng mga tao sa FB, IG o Twitter kung di nila ikinatutuwa eh. Kairita much lang yung mga gaya mong nagfafollow sa twitter o IG para lang mamuna at mamintas.

At ang mga fantards ni retokada princess nag gang-up sa mga nagsasabi ng totoo, like here. The letter sender was telling the truth naman eh retokada siya.

ReplyDeletepeople always say that celebrities are owned by the public and they should accept all the bashing and criticisms thrown to them. totoo lang to kung ang public ang reason kung bakit sila sikat, only the fans and supporters can do that. dahil sila ang bumibili ng ticket. ung mga bashers, walang karapatan dahil wala naman silang natulong para lalong sumikat ung artista. feeling privileged when they're nothing but bullies.
I find it funny how this letter sender took the time to brag her apparent conduct. The audacity to call someone "retokada" and yet expecting a person to let it slide. Try to ask yourself if you wouldnt do the same thing if someone tells calls you a retokada. One more thing it's her account so she can do anything, familiarize yourself with the term " prerogative".
