The word amnesia is a term used in showbiz to refer to stars who have trouble remembering names/faces of colleagues, especially those of media people. Often those accused with amnesia are newcomers, which is quite understandable. Other stars deliberately do it towards some reporters expecting that they get written, no matter how negatively - which to them is still publicity no matter what. And still, there are some stars who are just too busy with left and right commitments that they don't know anymore what is going on in their own industry especially of people and events.
Our subject is a Talented Singer TS1 who was a guest in a concert of a Fellow Talented Singer TS2. Backstage at the dressing room, TS1 was just chilling out and busy with her cellphone. Unknown to her, a Network Executive NE was just nearby looking at her. Being a fan, NE approached TS1 and requested her if she could sign her poster that NE would give to her niece. TS1's reply shocked her, "Pwedeng mamaya na lang? May ginagawa pa ako e!"
Actually, there was nothing to get busy with at that time as she was just fidgetting with her cellphone. NE who was obviously embarrassed, quietly went back to her seat. A few minutes after, TS2 came in and was pleasantly surprised and flattered that NE, her network boss was there for her. She hugged and kissed NE, and introduced her to TS1. TS1 was so shocked, couldn't even look at NE in the eye. Perhaps thinking of making amends, TS1 approached NE and cheerfully said, "Picture po tayo." But NE looking uninterested, politely turned down the gesture.

Malamang di kilala ni ts1 talaga yun kasi kapamilya sya at recently nagkakapatid na din plus us based na sya.. Yun nga lang dapat naisip nya paano nakapasok sa backstage yung tao kung di maimpluwensya so dapat inaccomodate nya kahit pano.. It means sa Ordinaryong tao pala mas masahol pa sya.. Sad!

DeleteMoral of the story is to treat everyone fairly. Just because network executive, she now feels embarrassed and would like to make amends? Hirap sa ibang tao, they think they are better just because they are (a bit more) popular. Everyone deserves respect, and the fans are the celebrities' unpaid supporters. Just the mere gesture of requesting a photo or an autograph is enough to appreciate the time and effort the fans give their "idol."

DeleteIt's most likely "aling heling walang kwenta to" during songbird's concert. She was one of her guests. The fact that she is kapamilya, there's a big possibilty that she doesn't know the kapuso execs. It couldn't be "avatar may salo sya" for before she became kapamilya & then, kapatid, she was once a kapuso. But then again, fp talked about amnesia.

Let's face it however "nice" the star is sometimes they will have some slips and bad moods. In this case, well not a right time to be "not in a good mood" moment. TS1 ~ Singapore TS2 ~ G! At yung NE na babae malamang na di talaga makikilala ni S, kasi mostly yung mga male exec lang ang lumalabas sa TV at yung popular lady exec na si W lumipat na. hindi lang ito ang naririnig ko na pag eemote ni S. yun nga lang puro BI. maraming nagagalit na si S pinagbibintangan, di nyo ba ma accept na minsan may topak din sya?

ReplyDeleteWell, I myself, has no right to condemn the person (whoever she is). We don't know where she is coming from. Maybe she's got a personal problem/family matters to attend to and the only mode of communication is her phone since she's at the event. She's being honest that she cant accomodate the request at that moment, at hindi natin alm how she deliver her response. wala tayo dun, malay natin kung polite naman syang tumanggi. And at the end, what matters most is she humbled herself and offer "picture po tayo". She might realized that she wronged that person and don't know how to cope up since nalaman nia na Boss nga un.

ReplyDeleteAndali naman nitong hulaan. Kung gusto nyo malaman. Just check the poster nung Silver Aniversary concert na yan at kung sino yung mga guests na female. May youtube clip na rin kung sino yun nakasama ni Songbird na kumanta dyan. Wag nyo na ipilit si S dahil hindi talaga sya yan. Tantanan nyo na sya. She's not a guest sa concert. Wala sya sa backstage andun sya sa itaas nanood sa VIP with her mom and some staff ng network nya. I follow some of them on twitter and they are live twitting that she was there in the vip suite with them. So hindi pwede mangyari na nasa backstage sya at hindi rin naman sya guest singer dun. Sa repeat concert next year sya guest pero not the one held recently.

FYI this is not S the princess. She wasn't even a guest sa concert. Wala sya sa backstage nanood sya sa VIP . You can even ask some staff of her network who were watching with her sa VIP booth for proof. Some people even tweeted na she was seated behind them and she was cheering and crying for R. So impossible na nasa backstage sya. T1 is L na galing Las Vegas. Sya yung guest na kumanta sa concert of T2. She was probably waiting for cue sa backstage. T1- Avatar na taga Las Vegas. She was a guest sa Silver Anniversary concert ni Song Bird T2-Asia's Song Bird na nasa Party P.

Deletereally dont see what the fuzz is all about, even if NE was turned down but it was in a polite manner then there shouldn't be an issue at all, the BI never mentioned how the "Pwedeng mamaya na lang? May ginagawa pa ako e!" was delivered, if it is in a rude way or not. Obviously NE's ego was hurt, that's the bottom line here. Whether or not this is nigthtingale or S, is totally irrelevant.

Pangalawa since nagstart siya sa showbiz sa abs na talaga sya ano bang malay or alam nya sa mga executive sa kabilang network. I dont think it's S, Time Giver or L kasi pare pareho silang nanggaling sa gma.

Kung si singapore man yan o nightingale, hindi rin naman tama na isisi lahat sa kanya. Paano kung si busy talaga yung tao? For example, yung kausap niya importanteng tao tapos yung pinaguusapan nila importante din tsaka di naman niya talaga dinismiss si NE kasi sabi niya pwede mamaya na lang. Ang problema din kasi sa pinoy, may pagka spoiled brat. Ang gusto laging mapagbibigyan agad, di pwedeng wait muna.
