Cheap Stunt

This female designer tries very hard to project a sophisticated image but what many do not know is that she is in big financial trouble. To support her grandiose lifestyle, she borrowed 2.5 Million PhP payable in 3-4 years with a monthly interest rate of 2.5% from a rich loan shark.

Due to her pretentious lifestyle, this female designer has been delinquent in paying for her loan. She allowed the interests to pile up month after month and her total debt has reached almost 4 Million PhP. In an attempt to seek for help, she thought of emailing one of her very wealthy clients to ask her for financial assistance. In her email, she begged the wealthy client to lend her money so she can pay off her huge debt.

After reading the email, this wealthy client was puzzled as to why the designer is still planning to open a second shop in a mall in spite of her financial problem. In fact, she is already having difficulties paying for the monthly rent of her current shop. This wealthy client is now avoiding this designer like the plague.

Do you know who this female designer is? She is also known in the fashion world as the girl who targets foreigners who can support her lavish pretentious lifestyle.     my dad always tell me "kapag uutang ka ng pera never never use it to pay for your debts" thats a bad sign daw... i think whoever is this designer minamalas na siya... now i believe na advice ng daddy ko. LOLS

    this is sad. in this situation, how do people like this get out of the grave they dug for themselves? it's a lot of money for a limited talent.
    I hope she eats her humble pie and turns around her troubles with dignity.

    i think maraming incapable of financial management sa fashion industry. My idea for her is to return to school and learn accounting, tapos mag-teach siya sa mga peers niya.

    Ang iba diyan kasi ipinag-halo ang negosyo at kalokohan.

    Witness this men's wear designer who was popular in the 80s & 90s, he even had a line in the department stores.

    Kaso nadala sa droga at kung ano-anung gimmik. Nasaan na siya ngayon, eh di caregiver ng isang mayamang at matandang matrona.

    At hindi pa-natututo, kung dumarating ang mga kaibigan niya, ipinag-kalat niya na naka-tira daw siya sa Hamptons. Kung tutuusin yun ang bahay ng amo niya.

    Kaya iba talaga ang mundo ng mga maldita ! So, kiddies, mother always says don't mix business with pleasure.

    Ako ang natatakot for this fashion designer, kahit anu pa ugali nya. She's been digging her own grave, I just hope it's not too late for her to pay off her debts. Ang laking pera kaya nun... Unless the loan shark is her friend (which I doubt: 2.5% a month???) she should start looking for a solution asap. If it were me hindi ako makakatulog ng mahimbing kakaisip.

    I've witnessed people go into deep debt because of living lifestyles they can't afford. They can't really payoff their debts until they change their lifestyle. More often, their friends avoid them instead.

    If she borrowed from a loanshark, won't the loanshark collect in such harsh manners? (or maybe I've watched too many mob movies)

    I wonder why she became matapobre and sosyalera where in fact she didn't grow up na mayaman.. She went to a simple school in Sucat which isn't as posh as the more exclusive schools in the area. I remember always seeing her pa nga riding the jeep going to school e. It's not bad at all, kaya lang I find it weird lang na for many years she's been living simple and then I find out na she's this elitista and sosyalera.

    I guess the influence of her friends rubbed off on her.. she has so many pretentious people surrounding her kasi diba?

    i think the subject of the BI should be the loan shark, naloko sya, THE MAIN CRITERIA in giving a loan is the ability to pay ( source of income , assets ) not friendship. So kung di man sya mabayaran, that is his fault. Why??? he should have seen this coming, I wont get upset about the designer not able to pay, as the saying goes, 2 lang ang tao sa pinas, manloloko at naloloko, sorry, nagpaloko sya, besides if you do the math, sa taas ng interest nya, Im sure nabawi na rin nya capital nya

    -i don't think the loan shark based the loan on friendship. akala niya that this designer can pay because of her lifestyle. if she lives the life of a wealthy person, siyempre you would think wealthy nga. so why should the loan shark have seen it coming? fault pa niya ngayon na di niya nakukuha what is due? well, manloloko nga itong si designer, pero sa tingin ko, hindi nagpaloko ang loan shark because di naman niya expect na ganito ang designer. and most people i know giving loans do charge a monthly interest nga of 10%/mo pa nga, so 2.5% is actually low compared to others.

    I agree with what you said regarding interest of 10%.. 2.5% is low. it's actually almost the same rate their giving in banks minus all the requirements they get when you apply for loans.. if she borrowed 2.5m with a 2.5% interest.. how did it reach 4m if it was payable in 3-4 years?? when was the loan made? seems like the computation is wrong somewhere...

    Mga kafatid tandaan nyo toh ... ang mga ma-iingay, matapobre at pa-saucey dyan yun ang tinatawag na bagong dating. O arriviste kung gusto nyo ng French.

    Ang salapi nila'y ( more often than not ) nakuha sa swerte, hiniram o ni-nakaw. Kailangan nilang i-broadcast, kasi nga naman bago na ang kanilang stasyon sa buhay.

    Ang mga matatagal ng mayaman, kung kumilos hindi nag-bibigay atensyon sa sarili. Kung magdamit naman simple, hindi naka usli ang label. Sila't sila din alam nila ang mga kagamitang pulido.

    Kaya't kung naka-bangga ka ng ma-iingay dyan, alam mo na kagagaling lang sa basura. Yun lang poh!

    Ang sad naman nakikita ko sya minsan sa mga events pero not that remarkable. Iba naman kasi mundo nila I can't tell the difference from social climbers and real social. Most affluent people don't crave the spotlight, and doesn't want to be photographed all the time. Wealthy women doesn't have to make too much effort to look the part.

    -maybe the reason is the designer gives FP so much reason to write about? and since some commenters in the past are asking for more "fashion-related" blind items, oblige naman si FP about this fashion designer, same person but iba-iba naman ang eksena at sitwasyon. :)

    I've known this girl for some time. she used to hang around in mars during hiphop nights looking for a guy to leech on. wanna be model but never really materialized. then she met this very rich british guy J and thats was the end of her poverty. they lived in a high end codo and was heavily heavily into d. they were together at least 5-6 years then she started cheating on him but still stayed with him as he supported her..he paid for the start up of her business. J himslef is somewhat mayabang and when in cloud nine even more mayabang. the girl naman ubod din ng yabang especially pag sabog! feeling na feeling!
