Quiet Enabler (QE) is often recognized for her achievements and advocacies. Like many celebrities, the presence of QE is highly valued, as she is known for her life struggles and overcoming them. Once in a while, QE gets her share of controversy. Given she’s already in the industry for many years, issues thrown at her seemed to have left her jaded, rather, indifferent.
Some time ago, QE was invited to give a talk, along with other relevant speakers. Knowing QE would bring in the crowd, the organizers tried to make do with what they have. However, they were not prepared when QE brought an entourage for her needs. As QE was among several speakers and performers, space was much limited. Changing rooms were impossible to accommodate everyone. With many people waiting for their turn, tension was inevitable.
Subsequently, QE’s handlers and the organizers were getting into each other’s nerves. QE, meanwhile, even if she was within reach, kept quiet. She did not bother to keep the tension down despite her team and the organizers were getting into heated arguments. Her speech was the shortest, but did give much headache to the event organizers.
