Not Just the Solution to Look Good

The pressure to look good on TV usually falls hard on the younger stars, who feel that they should do everything possible to have that slim look on the screen. With digital technology, every image is now crisp and clear. With widescreen TV, most celebrities get to be a bit heavy on the horizontal side. Hence, nothing can be hidden anymore, whether it is a pimple or the slight round of extra fat on the cheeks or around the waist.

When fans noticed that Talented Celebrity (TC) was losing her baby fat, most said that she finally woke up that she needed to tone her body to look better. The competition among her peers is all about abs, which comes a close second to looks, of course. Thus, TC went to the gym, ran, and posted videos of her attempts to keep off excess pounds.

Although TC was indeed looking better, something drastic had to be done. Despite the regular exercises, TC went on diet. With various diet programs to choose from, such as Atkins, Paleo, South Beach, and Ketogenic, TC decided that curtailing her food intake was a necessary evil for her to reach her ideal weight.

TC decided to go on a crash diet, which meant she only chose the food or supplements for intake for her to last the day. For some people, dieting is a very conscious effort given possible consequences. Some just go on diets because of trends, not knowing that other factors must be considered such as blood type and overall physical health. In the case of TC, her crash diet resulted in a badly manifested outcome. Her breath stank.

As a singer, host, and sometimes actress, TC has to work with fellow celebrities. Her current shows require her to interact with colleagues, who cannot show any reaction as the cameras can very well capture any smirk or facial reaction. Viewers can immediately see such reactions, of course. Lucky for TC, her co-performers are professionals and good at pretending that they do not smell anything. Even her rumored boyfriend seems to be already used to this situation. Before it’s too late, perhaps TC should consult an expert to cure the side effects of her diets. It’s the least she could do for her network colleagues.
