She Has Yet to Move on

When Gifted Performer (GP) and Young Actress (YA) came out as a couple, many thought they were perfect. GP was talented in his field, while YA was already recognized as an actress very early in her career. Moreover, they looked good together. However, a showbiz relationship can be full of intrigues, which eventually could lead to breakups. GP and YA were not spared from issues, and soon, both had to separate ways.
Despite the good things that are happening, YA is still feeling the aftermath of the breakup. She was not ready to react when GP ignored her when their paths crossed at an event. YA was much affected by the cold shoulder treatment that she had to have a private moment to cry.
Contrary to what people thought, family was a big factor in the relationship of GP and YA. The family of YA did not approve of GP for her. This fact was something that left many questions, as GP seems to exude kindness and gentlemanliness. Even when issues called for him to answer back, GP kept quiet and expressed that he would rather not comment on such matters. However, YA had no choice and let GP go. Deciding against her family can spell doom to her career, as they might not be there to support her with her choice. As expected, when they broke up, GP did not say anything.
As time flew, GP and YA seemed to have moved on. GP is regularly seen on TV and has other projects that need his attention. Meanwhile, YA has been swamped with work at her station, which has made sure that moving to another network would not be part of her plan. Nonetheless, YA has been dragged in various controversies only because a Hot Young Hunk (HH) has expressed interest in her. Of course, this issue never prospered as the fandom of HH vented their disagreement in social media, and YA became the victim of baseless accusations.
As GP and YA are still quite young, perhaps they should not really close all doors. If their love were real, then time can only tell if they are really meant for each other. By that time, YA should be independent enough to fight for whom she loves.

Sacrifice Your Love for Your Career

Despite the higher degree of liberal thinking nowadays, various sectors still frown at same sex relationships. Often, parents put their foot down and do whatever they could to prevent their children from engaging in such relationships. When Showbiz Parent (SP) found out that her child (HC) was allegedly involved in a same-sex relationship, she did was she thought was right to nip it in the bud.
SP confiscated the communication devices of HC to prevent either party from contacting each other. The other party (OP) is allegedly part of the network where HC works. Thus, when stories came out that HC and OP were an item, both were deemed to have jeopardized their jobs. Instead of extending the project of HC, rumors have it that it will end early despite its good reviews and refreshing storyline. The relationship has caused a problem in the production as SP has shown animosity towards the relationship.
Having had international and local exposure, surely, SP must have worked with the LGBT community, and thus, she should already be more understanding of such relationships. Although HC is still young, SP could have taken a more understanding approach instead of drastic measures. The common excuse for such actions is the cliché that a parent is doing what is best for the career of the child. Well, the truth is SP is not as highly in demand as before and HC is now one of the potential talents for stardom of the network. Simply put, HC is the breadwinner of the family.
