A Life of Smoke and Mirrors

Comely Model (CM) is a celebrity of sorts in media. Other than building a name in modeling, she has created an image of professionalism in her work, endorsements, and advocacy. Sadly, this image is nothing but an illusion, as CM is living a life that others feel is not a good model.

While CM seems to have a reputable name in her world, she rocked the social circles when a scandal broke out involving her family. After several years, CM and her husband (HH) ended their marriage, and each had no choice but to live separate lives. Although their marriage has yet to be annulled, CM is now living with someone who is in the same boat as she is. Allegedly, CM’s Present Beau (PB) works in the legal field, and like her, is still not legally separated from his wife.

CM and PB are believed to be staying in a high-end location, where the neighbors have kept quiet on the affair and other alleged dealings happening inside the four walls. On the legal end, others are claiming that since both have not yet ended their marriage legally, they can be sued for concubinage, adultery, or other related offenses. As to the question of why they are not yet annulled, their former partners are still smiting from their indiscretion. Worse, HH is also bent on not giving CM and PB and easy time.

However, what makes this relationship between CM and PB more interesting is that PB was once linked to a person (AP) who is very close to CM. When CM got wind of the relationship of AP and PB, she did not talk to AP for a time. Irony of ironies, CM is now in the same predicament as AP was years ago. When CM met PB, she was so troubled and the man just seemed to be the answer to her prayers. In pursuit of her happiness, she left her children, who are old enough, to HH. Now, CM is trying to penetrate the social circle of PB, but high society often frowns at such relationships, especially if the former players are still within the midst.

Choosing to Reform His Ways

When Network Talent (NT) surprised his management and showbiz world with his comeback, his handlers knew that he was now more prepared to deal with the fame. However, no one was prepared that NT would amass a huge following that he suddenly became the next youth sensation in a few months. NT is handsome, charming, and talented. In short, his success was not due to media hype alone. Armed with fame and followers, his management decided on the station that would be able to handle his career and make him a bigger name.

NT’s fans were happy as they were able to follow NT and were secured that NT would appear in various TV and movie projects. However, the surge in his popularity and financial resources were too much for NT. He partied as often as he could, and took advantage of his youth and charm. Soon, social media was a rich source of his exploits, such as hanging around in bars and other rumor-attracting activities. The effects of his enjoyment resulted in not being prepared for appearances and other engagements.

Just like that, NT was on the verge of ruining everything that he had built in a short time. He had potential, but he seemed to be throwing away the chance. As his management is highly experienced in building careers and having seen too many of the stars they have invested in lose everything, they put their foot down and talked some sense into NT.

Now, everyone can heave a sigh of relief as NT apparently listened to the advice of elders. He avoided spending too much time in bars, as rumors of his barhopping behavior might affect his wholesome endorsements. Although he still visits bars, he does not go as frequently as before. Then, instead of just allowing anyone to have a photo with him in those bars, he has learned to refuse, especially overzealous fans, to make sure no proof would indicate his presence. NT has now become more cautious and mindful of his actions, as he knows that a second chance in showbiz is elusive, but he was among the lucky ones to catch it.
