Rumors of His Alarming Liaisons

CT was in the area for a project. Arriving early with his entourage, he and his team decided to take a rest at a room that was assigned to him. Then, the production assistant left, and CT and AW had the room to themselves. After a few hours, AW was seen leaving the room of CT with her hair all wet, and when CT was called for his shoot, he seemed so tired and even yawning, even though he had been resting for hours since they arrived. In an out of town gig, CT and AW were seen at the wee hours of the morning extra sweet and flirting with each other near the hotel room.
Now, who is AW? AW allegedly is someone who is a bit older than CT, and has been assigned to make sure that CT is keeping his commitments and to assist in case some problems might arise during the appearances of CT. Of course, the role of AW in the life of CT should be professional, but sometimes, people in the same job as AW’s go beyond the limits.
Is this the way CT is getting back at all those rumors about his sexuality as well as the blank looks and neither-near-or-there comments when asked about SP? CT must be reminded that fans, specially SP’s legions, can be very jealous, and if he does something that would hurt SP, he might as well brace himself for their wrath, and CT can watch his career slowly fade into oblivion. When the fans take over, the network can be powerless in saving any actor’s career.

Locally, there are ‘closet’ gays as well who are actively into the once straight male-only dominated sports. It is easy to get convinced, especially nowadays. Remember that not only girls pursue these ‘straight’ male athletes - gays have their eyes on them, too. And if you bite the bait of these pink guys, there is nothing like a free lunch – you will be devoured.
Whether in the gyms or sports venues, locker rooms are said to be dangerous places, and silence is the only option. A sports insider once remarked that “every player has played with gay guys,” how bold but real!
Well, the statement echoes what are often dished out in showbiz media about popular gays proudly proclaiming their relationships with athletes – and everything starts from there. You know, just read between the lines.
In relation to this, the masculinity of Popular Athlete PA had been questioned not too long ago. As expected PA denied it all. The denial is understandable owing to the fact that he believes that there is a bright future ahead of him and he just can’t gamble with that by coming out. Good point, maybe. But only if PA could have been more circumspect from the beginning.
Heard from the grapevine that prior to hitting it big in sports, PA was already ‘acting like one’ within his circle. Reportedly, PA often attended parties, and in these parties, he was always with his male classmates and friends more than the girls, and this was where the suspicion began.
Allegedly, in one of these parties, PA was spotted privately pleasuring a male friend. Oh how blooming PA looked that night! Reportedly, the photos that came out from that party revealed a very happy PA who was so smiling from ear to ear. Uh oh, that was a given. If mission was accomplished, who wouldn’t look gratified, right?

While everyone believed that SA has indeed changed, an incident that only the keen observer can notice has been attributed to the influence of SA in her home network. SA allegedly requested her network to suspend a seasoned member of the press (MP), who is a contributor to one of the long-lasting show of the station.
Apparently, SA did not like what MP wrote in an article that portrayed her in a bad light. According to the controversial article, SA gave a not-so-polite response to the question of another reporter. Briefly, the account of MP further claimed that SA might have misunderstood the question, which, consequently, led to her irritation and her mismatched answer. (Note that two issues from this article could have gotten the ire of SA. First, SA was portrayed as having replied negatively. Second, SA was portrayed as being incapable of comprehending the question.)
Because SA has been very vocal about having “no negativity,” it seems that no one will be spared from her stance. While some label SA as tactless and rude when she calls a spade a spade, others defend her by saying that SA is just being true and honest. Nonetheless, there is no denying that SA can be quite influential in her “reformed” way.

Controversial young actress Anne Curtis was mobbed and cheered by rank-and-file employees when she unexpectedly showed up at the main office of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in Quezon City the other day to inquire about her alleged multi-million-peso tax liabilities.
Even the most serious and conscientious employees ogled and crowded her as they positioned themselves for photo opportunities – “selfie” style.
However, no explanation was given by the BIR information office if why Curtis went to the BIR.
But informed sources said she met behind closed doors with legal and enforcement officials to inquire about the letter of authority (LA) issued against her.
The same sources said Curtis is allegedly facing a tax fraud investigation to cover “recent years” as the LA was issued by the national investigation division, which former name was is tax fraud division.
They could not make estimates of her tax liabilities, but said it could run to several millions of pesos.
BIR records showed that Curtis was number 50 in the list of top individual taxpayers for 2012, paying a total of P19.1 million in income tax.
She was two notches above billionaire Enrique Razon who is into the container port business who paid a total of P19 million in income tax.
The BIR explained that Curtis’ payment covered purely income for self employment and practice of profession using BIR income tax form number 1701.
Aside from her show business, Curtis is also generating huge income as a popular endorser of a wide range of consumer products.
Actually, revenue officials said Razon and other top business executives are remitting more taxes than entertainment personalities if taxes from other earnings are included in the income tax return (ITR).
Dividends, interests on bank deposits, sales of share of stocks, and properties received by heads of conglomerates and inter-related companies are no longer covered by income taxation as they are subject to the final withholding tax system.
