Older generation watchers often criticize when the behavior of celebrities touch on their supposed conservative beliefs. For instance, they believe that the youth should behave accordingly, such as obeying and not answering back elders especially in public or in social media. Moreover, elders think the young generation should follow their teachings without complaint and stress that, as the older ones, they know better.

While some families follow strictly the hierarchical relationship between elders and children, modern times have shown the shift. These days, the younger ones are outspoken and act like they are on equal footing as the older generation.

Pretty Lass (PL) was seen enjoying the company of Male Companion (MC) in an event with other people. Though not a couple, observers were puzzled as PL behaved like she and MC were already a couple. They were touchy-feely and seemed to be very comfortable with one another. In another incident, PL used to stay with a boyfriend for a few days in his home. While the staycation looked okay, the older people in the boyfriend’s home were not okay with the arrangement.

Observers felt offended as PL was unmindful of her behavior and some even thought that she embarrassed her elders. Being female, PL was expected to behave in a certain way in front of male guests.

However, someone said that the elders of PL tolerated her behavior because she had a hold on them. As the family breadwinner, PL seemed to have been extended a certain degree of freedom. The fear of getting the ire of PL by enforcing strict boundaries with her peers might lead to the elders losing their support. After all, PL is of age already and can drop her support for others who might nag her over not behaving according to society’s expectations.
