Many companies recognize the value of an endorser. Several go through great lengths to hire the services of a personality who has the image that matches the identity of the endorsed product. Hence, the choice is critical given that the celebrity’s demeanor can make or break the sales.
Sometime ago, a company thought of hiring the services of a Famous Duo (FD). FD was hot and their faces, the company believed, can bring their products into the market and subsequently grab a commendable market share. The company managed to obtain the services of FD, and the bosses were surprised.
Unexpectedly, FD made demands for their product shoot. They wanted the most expensive production team, stylists, make-up artists, etc. The company team was aghast at the insistence of FD for their shoot. They had no choice but to adhere just to make sure the company gets FD’s faces on their marketing promotions.
While FD’s fame rose, unfortunately, as years passed, the company did not and had to close shop.
