Falling in love is the easiest part of a relationship and nothing beats the start of a relationship when two lovers are getting to know each other. When the love is young and feelings are strong, forever seems to be within the couple’s grasp until reality sets in.
Young Talent (YT) thought that her relationship with Versatile Boyfriend (VB) would bring her endless happiness. After all, VB is supportive of her career and she, similarly, is always present in his activities. Moreover, YT and VB have been introduced to the public as a couple, which meant no more hiding from the press.
However, despite their seeming happiness, things took a turn when An Elder (AE) put her foot down and made sure the relationship will not prosper. AE sent a message to YT asking her to come for a private meeting. YT obliged and was unprepared for what AE had to say. Allegedly, AE said that she has plans for VB and YT might distract him from pursuing his goals and what AE wants for him. Thus, AE asked YT not to meet with VB anymore. Besides, if it’s real love, then they can wait for each other. YT is not dense and she realized that if she pursues her relationship with VB, she’ll be pressured by AE. AE does not like her, period.
According to the grapevine, several factors honed the dislike of AE toward YT. First, AE did not take kindly to queries of Inquisitive Celebrity (IC) whenever YT was not with VB during family events. AE definitely does not want tension to arise whenever YT would come over for a visit. Second, AE allegedly hired a private investigator to do a thorough background check of YT.
When AE received the report, she was shocked as she went over the details. Allegedly, YT has a Powerful Friend (PF) from a nearby province. Prior to the arrival of VB in her life, PF has been helping her with her family obligations. However, PF is a politician and very much committed. Obviously, exposing his freindship with YT might create a negative impact on his career. Thus, everything is done quietly.
Predictably, AE told VB what her snooping resulted in and he was devastated. From that moment onwards, he no longer responded to messages coming from YT. In other words, he ghosted YT. Although no formal closure happened, they stopped seeing each other. For now, the two have moved on to pursue their respective careers.
