Professionalism is quality that only several celebrities process. Coming on time and prepared to the set, performing consistently in any role, respecting the decision of the production, refraining to post rants in social media, and honoring the details of the signed contract are among the traits professional talents Another important factor, which is often neglected, is the respect for co-workers and not gossiping about them in public or private functions.

The few celebrities known to be professionals are often sought-after and a network who has most of such celebrities is guaranteed of smooth operations in a show. Thus, a network knows that hiring Professional Celebrity (PC) for a show can result in high credibility, which would attract more viewers. When the network and PC talked, the latter was candid enough to inform the heads about her heavy schedule for the season. Only if the network could accommodate her schedule would she take the offer. The network said PC was needed and her requests would be honored, as she is quite competent in her field and having her would make the show more professional.

As the talks progressed, the network told PC that she would be working with Impressionable Female (IF). Like PC, IF is well-respected for her accomplishments and she is very competent in her area. As soon as PC heard IF’s name, she reiterated that if the network cannot work around her schedule, she can forego the season and wait if ever she gets tapped again. The network sensed something was awkward and PC opened up.

PC admitted that IF has gotten on her nerves. PC cannot understand why IF has to be emotional every time she says something and sometimes, she would shed tears, which PC thinks is uncalled for and has become a habit. PC then shared some negative reactions in social media about IF. After sharing her thoughts, PC hinted that if the network hires IF, then she would focus on her commitments and not go mainstream. This statement made the network think and the decision was to stick it out with PC.

Informing IF that she would not be working with PC was tough to make, as IF has informed the heads of her desire to get the job. Cost-cutting was cited as the main reason for dropping her and even if IF was devastated, she kept cool and maintained her professionalism.

Once a door closes, a window opens, which was the case for IF. After breaking the news to IF, she was called for a meeting with a Top Executive (TE). TE assure IF that she would not be left empty-handed, as the network is preparing a big project for her. IF was appeased and she was informed that she can use the time to prepare for that big project. That’s not all, however. TE added that another project was in the works as well.

When the loyal audience realized IF was no longer part of the show, IF had to give a reason. True enough, her reasons were plausible and all seemed to end well.

The event industry seems abuzz these days, as the womanizing ways of a Service Supplier (SS) is bound to catch up on him. SS belongs to the elite group of service personnel who are most sought after. In fact, his works are often praised and speak for his team’s skills. Hence, clients know what they need to avail his services and that means a big allocation in the event budget and schedule matching.

SS, however, is quite a ladies’ man. SS allegedly has a reputation that claims he has a thing for certain female staff and even some members of events that have hired his services. Well, SS is not single, as he is committed to a Service Provider (AS1). The event industry knows about the partnership of SS and AS1, as their jobs complement each other. However, what seems to be a hushed-up story is that SS has a relationship going with a second Service Provider (SP2). SS has a liking for people in the same profession, obviously.

Allegedly, SP2 has been flaunting that she and SS are together and have their rendezvous, despite the presence of AS1. As things have escalated, SP2 has threatened to reveal every detail to AS1 once SS decides to leave her and go back to his girlfriend.

However, SS has allegedly wronged AS1 earlier. He had become a father to a child of a woman who was part of the entourage of an event that hired his services. Nonetheless, SS managed to woo back AS1 and they have started anew. This time, nothing has changed. Things have repeated in the case of SP2, who is in that interesting stage courtesy of SS. Similarly, SS wants to have a life with AS1, but would she give him a second chance once she finds out the truth?

Adding to the womanizer reputation of SS stories of clients being dropped in favor of celebrities, who might have set their appointments later than those non-celebs who were discarded.
