Keeping Allegiance

Making pronouncements without the consent of one’s management can put a celebrity in hot water. Given that management has plans for the career of a talent, any announcements done without telling the heads might affect the career of the said talent. In other words, all moves, whether movie roles or reactions to intrigue, can be orchestrated and done in numbers.
One time, the public was surprised with the admission of Young Actress (YA) that she and Dashing Celebrity (DC) are already officially together. YA and DC have long been rumored to be having a special relationship, but both had denied such until that moment. The admission came at a time when DC’s career was going nowhere and YA’s career was moving toward a positive line.
Consequently, YA was summoned by the management to explain her statement. Even since DC drifted, his projects were no longer regular. For example, a movie he was supposed to be in changed leads. He was no longer in, having been replaced by hot young actor. Thus, YA was told that associating with DC might be the downfall of her career given the negativism associated with him.
Finally, YA was asked if what she admitted were true, to which she could only smile and say that she was merely helping DC to draw up interest in his career. Besides, YA acknowledged that she knows DC inside out and even his love interests were known to her. DC happens to be vainer in terms of keeping his skin glowing than YA. She sincerely wanted to help DC, even if she allegedly knew that his present squeeze is someone in athletics.

Annoying Presence

In a gathering for a special presentation, the cameras rolled to capture each celebrity dance and sing to a happy moment. The camera panned to Jittery Performer (JP), who seemed to be not in the mood for anything. The director let it be, but in another second, JP’s reaction was so recognizable that her emotion was not what was expected for the occasion.
As the facial expression of JP was noticeable, the director yelled ‘Cut!’ JP was asked to smile. She did not and once again ‘Cut’ reverberated. This time, JP was finally asked what her problem was, as she is a good actress who can mask her true feelings while taping or shooting. After a few minutes, JP revealed her discomfort by being next to Her Rival (HR). JP said she cannot stand to be with a plastic person, who seemed to feign innocence, but guilt is all over.
The production then thought of a plan so as not to single out JP and HR. The groups were rearranged. When the groupings were done, the taping went on without any hitch. This time, JP was her usual bubbly self.
Meanwhile, HR decided to ask what was wrong with JP. Her behavior was embarrassing to the senior stars, as a delay was happened. Then, someone from the production told HR that JP did not like to be near her. The reaction of HR was classic. She said that JP behaved like a child and such was uncalled for. Besides, HR can have her man all she wants. HR has no interest in him. Nonetheless, stories reaching JP seem to indicate otherwise.
