Appealing to Clear Her Name

When one has spent years building a reputation, a scandal can often ruin every good name that person has established. Sometime ago, Industry Celebrity (IC) was the subject of speculations, as she seemed to have slowed down in her social media posts. Although known as a busy person, the lack of posts made her followers wonder if her social mess was partly to blame.
As love can creep in anytime and without warning, IC passionately fell for a Business Personality (BP). However, there was one major problem. In the eyes of society, BP was still married to Low Key wife (LK). Rumors had it that BP and LK were indeed undergoing a crisis in their marriage, but like most married couples, would not want theirs to fail. LK was allegedly hoping that she and BP would be able to rebuild their family.
Then, IC entered the picture and BP shifted his attention. In a snap, any hope for the family to be whole again was gone. IC and BP tried to keep their relationship away from the public, but since the two were well-known in their respective fields, the secret was out. Even LK, who is not even a public personality, was hounded for reactions. LK knew better by keeping quiet and avoiding any chance to be interviewed by the press. Instead of confronting the other woman, LK started the painful process of letting go.
Later, IC started to worry about the tag associated with her. Knowing that the circle is small, IC made calls to common friends she had with LK and invite them for lunch or dinner. IC’s goal was to clear her name, as she claims that LK and BP already had their marriage annulled before she was even in the picture. Hence, she cannot be tagged as a ‘husband stealer.’ One of the personalities IC allegedly contacted was a politician who shared the same passion for a project close to LK’s heart.
Reality check is that IC would never have control over what other people would say about her. What happened is done and IC should just move on and not waste time trying to clear her name. She can just hope that time will erase the tag associated to her name these days.

Sometime ago, Influential Handler (IH) warned Award-winning Celebrity (AC) of the possibility of his career dropping to rock bottom. AC used to take such warnings seriously and followed every request of IH in his career and even in his heart choices. However, times are cruel and one cannot have both career and love. As AC found The Love (TL) of his life, he slowly turned a deaf ear at IH’s warnings.
Even if AC remains one of the most important personalities in his network, his projects have not been rating well not have critics praised his performances. While age can be a reason as to why AC cannot find success, IH has a different reason. AC is too much in love with TL to the point that he is slowly neglecting his career.
Meanwhile, TL seems to be in a similar boat. As a highly-valued star of her network, TL has always had high profile projects that made her fans excited. TL has a solid following when it comes to her big screen work with fans and critics, but such does not automatically translate to achieving in the little screen. Parallel to the career of AC, TL seems to be jinxed. Her last project was a big disappointment despite the fresh plot, effects, and cast.
Given the performances of their projects, AC and TL were advised to take some time to rethink the direction of their careers. If they must reinvent their image, they could do so as long as they bring back the interest of viewers. Even if they are given the best directors, script, and resources, without loyal viewers, their effort would just go to waste.
As IH told AC the possible effects of his dismal projects, AC seems to be less worried these days compared to a few years ago. At that time, everything that had to do with his matters of the heart would have to be approved by IH. With TL, things changed and IH could not do much. IH had to tell AC that his career would be worse if he decides to marry TL. However, he is too much in love and the only thing that their fans are waiting for is the day when he proposes to TL.
