Inilabas na ng Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation ang listahan ng mga nagwagi para sa 49th Box-Office Entertainment Awards after a lenghty deliberations kahapon, Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
Ang mga bida ng Metro Manila Film Festival 2017 (MMFF) box-office hit na “Gandarapido: The Revenger Squad” na sina Vice Ganda, Pia Wurtzback at Daniel Padilla ang tatanggap ng Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema.
Ang on & off lovers na sina Enrique Gil at Liza Soberano ang hinirang namang Box-Office King & Queen para sa “My Ex and Whys.”
Nag-tie naman bilang Film Actor of the Year sina Dingdong Dantes at Aga Muhlach; Film Actress of the Year si Iza Calzado, Breakthrough Movie Actor of the Year si Empoy Marquez, Breakthrough Love Team of the Year sina Empoy Marquez at Alessandra de Rossi.

Making Sure
If a partner is worth fighting for, then go for it, and by all means, get him away from all temptations. This statement might be the motivating factor as to the reason for the return of Voluptuous Talent (VT) back to the country. As soon as VT realized that her frequent trips overseas seem to be the reason for Her Boyfriend (HB) being thought of as single and fair game, she packed her bags and flew back.
During one of her trips abroad, VT was shocked to see posts in social media about HB and a Common Friend (CF). Disturbed by the implications of the coziness of HB and CF, VT allegedly took a pill too many. After her ordeal, she decided to prevent any other painful event to happen to her. As soon as VT confirmed the woman trying to be the third party, who is CF, she went ballistic and allegedly sent scathing and below the belt messages to CF. VT was making a statement that no one should attempt to go between her and HB. Of course, CF was disturbed and had to take a timeout away from social accounts. Besides, a scandal might affect the career of CF, who unlike VT and HB is not used to the public eye.
Earlier in the day when VT was arriving and HB was scheduled to pick her up, someone saw him talking to CF in a hotel near the meeting place of the troubled couple. After a few minutes, HB left, presumably to pick up VT.
Since the time that trouble seems to be brewing, things seems to be back to normal if the posts in their social media accounts are to be believed. VT and HB are sweet in their photos showing what they do best. Things look positive for the couple and they seem to be doing fine. Of course, social media posts can say and not say what words could express. Interestingly, a glance at the comment section of the social media posts of HB are non-incriminating one-liners coming from CF.
