Lacking Reason

One of these days, Difficult Actress (DA) might wake up and realize that the work and fame she is taking for granted are all gone. While DA is undoubtedly a popular talent, her attitude toward her work is giving the production and marketing people of her management a hard time. Instead of valuing her projects as well as exposure, DA would rather do what she pleases.
Allegedly, DA has been caught with questionable excuses in the past that have affected her workflow. For instance, DA would ask to be excused for feeling ill or for an emergency, only for the staff to find out that she has taken off with her Cute Boyfriend (CB). Thus, the schedule of her commitments must be revised because she took an unexpected timeout.
When DA was offered a project with Renowned Professional (RP), her fans were excited because RP is known for making challenging and quality projects. The press releases garnered positive responses and cinema enthusiasts awaited as to how RP would bring out more of DA’s acting talent. At that time, DA was working on another project, which hit a snag because of her attitude. The said project almost did not push through because of the unprofessionalism DA showed. However, the hype was too much and money had already been invested, and thus, the project had to be completed.
As soon as the project was completed, DA was supposed to start work with RP. Given that the schedule of the prior project was messed up, the schedule with RP was affected as well. Then, DA prioritized short-term projects instead of meeting up with RP. RP still had patience at this point, but then, DA packed up her bags and left with CB on an out of town trip. Of course, the way she treated RP was the last straw and RP dropped DA. Then, as her replacement was still up in the air, DA told her management to tell RP to take her back. The request fell on deaf ears, as RP stood firm on his decision.
As all things are connected, this attitude of DA has bothered her affiliated station. DA was supposed to have a TV project for the year, but the station is lukewarm given her attitude and her last project was a huge disappointment. Moreover, inhouse directors are allegedly not interested in handling her, especially when stories of how she delayed her previous projects was the talk of the town.
The attitude of DA stems from a root cause. Whenever she has a problem with CB, her work gets affected and to get CB away from other interested parties, she takes him on various trips. When he’s in town and not busy with work, CB meets up with friends, looks for his former bedmates, or meet other ladies. DA can be quite rude when girls attempt to flirt with CB. Thus, to avoid stressing out, DA must make sure CB is away from his crowd, not caring if her work gets affected.

Whenever celebrities are in showbiz-oriented shows or get interviewed by reporters, questions on love and relationships are often asked. For most talents, coaching has been done on how to answer such questions to make sure they do not jeopardize their image with their responses. If one has a loveteam, answers should hint that the celebrity being asked is interested in his/her onscreen partner. Such response has been assumed as to keep the interest of fans.
Even though he is already known in the business, Long-standing Talent (LT) can never escape questions about the matters of his heart. Knowing that he is being built up with Young Actress (YA), the expected response to such questions was about her. LT did not, however, go with the flow.
LT hinted that he was indeed attracted to someone, and that he was exerting effort to get to know her better. Naturally, the interviewer assumed the target was YA, but the effort of LT was not toward her. LT was interested in Pretty Performer (PP), who has been out of his network for quite a time.
When LT altered some details in his social media account, the fans thought it was to make sure nothing upsets YA. Thus, the fans were happy. LT and YA belong to the same network, anyway, and their partnership already has a fanbase. Unfortunately, the truth began unraveling, as LT would be seen with PP in various gatherings and sometimes, in public places. From his actions, LT was interested in PP.
The only problem in this situation is that PP is moving on with her career in another station and LT has YA for show. If the network gets wind of such intentions of LT, would he be warned and subjected to a talk on shifting his attention to YA to make sure things will go well with their loveteam? The more interesting item would be if LT will allow his heart to be dictated upon.
