Just Be Who You Are
While the loveteam of NC and TP was on the upswing, observers noticed that something did not seem right. As fans hoped they would become a real couple, others remained cynical and still, others believed that the two were just playing along a forced role that was imposed on them by their network.
Without reaching expectations, the loveteam of NC and TP broke apart amidst scandals that revealed their shocking personalities. In the case of NC, several big names were involved and the men were married, which shocked her fans. After all, the men were old enough to be her father. The mess got messier when threats to sue the parties involved were floated. Meanwhile, TP had his own online scandal, but the images were not as controversial or as big a deal as sex videos of alleged actors.
To let the scandals die down, NC and TP had to take a breather, and later on, their loveteam was no more. To clean the dirt off her reputation, NC took refuge in the influence of a Popular Media Personality (PM). Years ago, PM has been the subject of uneasy rumors that involved a Personality who once made the Headlines (PH). However, PM kept quiet and did not comment on the rumor. Besides, PH has long moved on and is living a quiet life somewhere far from controversy. Still, even if PM tried to help add to the sanitizing of the reputation of NC, nothing has happened.
At present, NC is still visible on various media platforms, but her career no longer has the same fire prior to her controversies, which actually happened years ago. She has been trying to find her niche in the industry, which could explain her involvement in projects other than acting. Similarly, TP’s star seems to have lost its shine despite being visible in a highly regarded show. Without an influential mentor, TP just has to be thankful that the network has not forgotten him.

Pinoy Rock Joey 'Pepe' Smith suffered a stroke on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.
The 69-year-old rockstar came from the GMA Studios in Quezon City to try and plug his upcoming concert in "Wowowin".
"We left GMA around 7 p.m. and stopped for dinner. Around 11 p.m., malapit na nga kami sa subdivision niya, tapik siya sa akin nang tapik. Paglingon ko, bagsak na yung mukha niya. Ni-rush ko na siya sa opsital," Smith's manager Mark de Leon tells GMA News Online.
Smith is currently in the stroke unit of Metro Antipolo Hospital, where his daughter Queenie, manager de Leon, and event promoter Dudee Alfonso are waiting for updates for his neurologist.
Smith was going to headline the first Pepe Smith Rockfest scheduled on November 18 at Amoranto Stadium. — LA, GMA New

Be Mindful of Your Heart
If Talented Actress (TA) does not watch it, she might end up with a rude awakening, that is, Her Object (HO) of affection is not really interested in her. Sometime ago, viewers noticed the chemistry of TA and HO in a project they were doing. As they were both single, the teasing started and soon, fans hoped they would end up together. That wish might not happen, as HO is not really interested in TA.
Although TA and HO have been in the business for a number of years, attention to them has only been strong in the past couple of years. TA has shown that she could act, as she was praised for her acting in her movies. Similarly, HO has moved from dull actor to an admired one. The faith of his network in his capabilities was so strong that his projects came one after the other. These projects consequently developed his acting skills, as his roles became more complicated.
Another similarity that the two shared is that both are keepers when it comes to their relationships. They both opt to be in long-term relationships, which they probably thought were the ‘forever’ ones. Unfortunately, incidents happened and both have separated from their long-term lovers. The difference, however, is that it took a while for HO to admit he was in a relationship, while TA was very open with her former partner.
Now, stories have it that TA is totally smitten with HO. HO plays along, and even in social media, HO knows how games are played. By creating minor intrigue, followers become interested, which is important if a celebrity is between jobs. TA has no qualms about hinting to HO that she likes him that much. A few rhythmic words dedicated to him and a few catchy comments, TA makes her presence felt. HO is receptive online, which makes followers hope that their attention toward each other would lead to true love. Unfortunately, sources say that HO is doing a player role these days. He’s not into TA, but he cannot afford to be rude to her or even ignore her, as she might soon be a prime mover in the industry.

Buhay ng Isang Working Student
Tignan natin si Jericho 21 anyos mula sa Cainta Rizal na isang working student. Ayon kay Jericho, “iba ang hirap ng isang working student, kung akala mo nakakastress na yung school, hindi pa pala. Importante sakin na makagraduate ng kolehiyo kaso lang kulang ang pera namin para sa pangkolehiyo ko kaya napilitan akong sumabak sa pagiging working student. Nagtatrabaho ako ngayon sa call center sa Taguig. Hindi madali lalo na hindi ito part-time lang. Binigyan lang ako ng manager ko ng special schedule kung saan nakapili ako ng off at oras ng pasok na swak sa schedule ko. Graveyard shift ako sa trabaho tapos sa umaga naman ay derecho na ako sa school. Nung una, mamatay matay ako lagi sa antok, madalas din ako magkasakit at nahihirapan talaga ako balansehin ang oras ko pero hindi rin naman nagtagal naging okay na din at nasanay ako. Mula sa suporta ng pamilya ko, mga mahal sa buhay, managers sa opisina, professors sa school hindi ako sumuko. Lalo na nung nahanap ko yung isang bagay na makakatulong sakin sa lifestyle ko ngayon, ang energy booster!”

Philippine bet Mariel de Leon ended her journey in the Miss International 2017 pageant in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday.
The daughter of screen veterans Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong failed to make it to the Top 15.
Candidates from Curacao, Venezuela, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Ghana, Honduras, Japan, Ecuador, Finland, Laos, Indonesia, Panama, Thailand, Australia, and South Africa made it to the Top 15.
Miss International 2017 is still ongoing, and is streamed live on the pageant’s website.
It took De Leon two tries in Binibining Pilipinas before getting the opportunity to represent the Philippines in Miss International.
She was hoping for a back-to-back win for the Philippines. Her predecessor, Kylie Verzosa, is the reigning titleholder.
