Didn't Manage to Resist the Overwhelming Situation
One time, Media Personality 1 (MP1) invited Media Personality 2 (MP2) and Media Personality (MP3) for a round of drinks at a watering hole. As the three talked and relaxed, MP3 noticed that MP1 was generous in making sure that MP2 was getting as much as he wanted in terms of alcohol. Then, MP2 was too drunk to even stand up. Obviously, he would not be able to go home on his own. Besides, drinking and driving would spell out disaster.
MP1 and MP3 decided it would be best for MP2 not to go home. Immediately, MP1 arranged with the manager if they could leave the ride and will just pick it up in the morning when MP2 was sober. Thus, MP1 volunteered to take MP2 home, but there was one problem – he did not know where MP2 lives. The next best thing was to bring MP2 to his pad. MP3 went his way and MP1 was left with MP2.
At his unit, MP1 made sure MP2 was comfortable. MP1 cleaned up MP2, unbuttoned his shirt, and eventually, changed clothes. As he was wiping MP2, MP1 started to feel MP2 all over. Then, he could not resist it and started to kiss MP2 on the lips, slowly, feeling its softness. Then, he did his move, went down, and hit on MP2’s head. Although he was drunk, MP2 felt something was happening. He tried to resist, but he was too weak to stop MP1 from taking advantage. He just let things happen and slept away.
In the morning, MP1 acted like nothing happened, but MP2 felt awkward that he politely said goodbye, returned to the bar, and picked up his ride. Hours later, MP2 could not shake off what happened. He had to confide to his other friends. He could not believe that MP1 could take advantage of him sexually. However, he felt helpless, as he has just been involved in an alleged scandal that has affected his reputation as a member of the department. Reporting the incident as a sexual assault would put him again in the limelight.

Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos pled forgiveness for the “sins” of her father, the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos, at the end of a three-day celebration of his 99th birthday in Batac City on Sunday.
“Whatever sins my father committed—he was, after all, human who made mistakes—I hope people absolve him. I hope that beyond all these issues, they would find mercy because in forgiving my father, their anger would be sated and they too would find peace,” Imee said in Filipino.
She said the family had been hurt by the outrage triggered by the plan to bury Marcos at Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City. The plan was stopped by the Supreme Court, which is hearing arguments on whether Marcos deserves to be buried at the heroes’ cemetery.
Imee thanked the people who supported the Marcos family all these years. “If not for you, the family would have broken down. We draw our strength, our stability and our love from you all,” she said.
She described her father as a “simple member of the community who loved the Ilocano dish dinengdeng (vegetable stew), a man who loved to dance the tango, and a father who was indulgent, patient and always joking around.”
“He belonged to the best times of gentleman-politicians. We are thankful for his teaching presidency,” said Marcos’ nephew, Ilocos Norte Vice Gov. Eugenio Angelo Marcos Barba.
“When I asked mom (Fortuna, Marcos’ youngest sister) what was her most unforgettable experience with Uncle Andy (Marcos), she recalled that when she needed to be in Manila after the war, her brother came rushing to her and accompanied her from Sarrat (town) to Manila. Going to Manila that time was very difficult,” Barba said.

"During this time, we will give due diligence to the investigation process by not making any further statements that may jeopardize the integrity of this inquiry," she added.
Fernandez's sister, British-Filipino Ma. Aurora Moynihan, was shot dead before dawn on Sunday. Her body was dumped along Temple Drive near Giraffe Street in Brgy. Ugong Norte, Quezon City at around 1:55 a.m.
Moynihan had gunshot wounds in the chest. A cardboard sign was found on top of her body with the sign "Drug pusher ng mga celebrities, kasunod na kayo!"
Fernandez said her family's priority now is to protect Ma. Aurora's children.
"In the early hours of September 10th, we lost my sister Aurora Moynihan. We as a family have one priority and truth at this point in time and that is to protect her children from further pain and suffering so that they, and we as a family may take this time to grieve, mourn but most of all celebrate the life of this exceptional human being I will forever have the privilege of calling my sister," she said.
"Thank you for your understanding," Fernandez ended her statement.
Police investigation is still ongoing to determine who may be responsible for the shooting. —KG, GMA News

Just hours after Kris Aquino confirmed that she is leaving ABS-CBN, the network released a statement thanking Aquino for her years of service as a Kapamilya.
On Monday, Kane Errol Choa, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, said the company respects Aquino's decision to leave.
"We thank Kris for the many years that she has been a Kapamilya bringing joy, hope, and inspiration to our viewers worldwide. She will always be a Kapamilya and we wish her well in her new journey," the statement read.
Aquino took to social media early Monday to announced that she has decided to leave ABS-CBN and has signed with APT Entertainment, Inc., which is closely associated with rival GMA-7.
The television host said it was her manager Boy Abunda who reached out to APT's Tony Tuviera. Aquino also expressed gratitude to ABS-CBN and her new "family."

Got to Clean up Her Behavior
As years passed, TP had to reinvent herself, as her fans had grown up, literally, and maturity was much needed in her image. However, this image came with another issue. She was on top of her career, but opted to settle down with A Celebrity (AC). Together, they tried to make a family, but pressure was high. Thus, both went separate ways. AC opted to leave showbiz altogether, while TP could not because it’s in her blood.
After the failed romance with AC, TP hooked up with Outspoken Figure (OF), who helped her through her mess. Their relationship was keenly watched by the public, simply because TP and OF were highly visible in their respective fields. Just as when people thought OF was a good influence to TP, they broke up. At this point, snaps of the attitude of TP, such as being difficult to be with, were passing through the grapevine.
As she was not getting any younger and her career was considered a novelty by this time, TP announced that she was getting married. Given that people always would want any relationship to be fine, TP and Her Partner (HP) could not work things out. As always, TP left and flew abroad. HP was helpless, given that TP did not want to have anything to do with him anymore.
Every time, TP comes home, expect her arrival to be mentioned in the dailies. TP still has fans who long for the day when she could be in a show with her contemporaries, who are personally doing better that her. During one of those instances that TP decided to spend time in the country, she was seen in one of the bars in a classy hotel. One after another, TP drank her alcohol like there was no tomorrow. Consequently, TP started behaving loudly, which called attention from other patrons of the said place. The obviously drunk TP was putting the younger generation to shame with her drinking. People who saw her in her drunk state could only shake their heads. Despite age, children, and relationships, TP has not really matured into the woman she is expected to be.
