Minding the Jolting Reality

When Beleaguered Actor (BA) started his career, his initial appearance was met with raves and high hopes. BA showed much potential and he was soon marked for better opportunities. Starting at a young age, BA became the beacon of hope for his family. As he started earning, he was able to support his family financially. The roles came one after the other and soon BA was able to establish a name for himself. Given the support of a network, BA landed roles in soaps and movies that made quite a high return on investment.
Unfortunately, people did fail to see the warning signs BA was showing. Perhaps because he was the breadwinner, his family allowed him to do as he pleased, which proved disastrous, as he was not given as much guidance. Thus, as easily as he made a name for himself, BA started to show lack of discipline and soon he started neglecting his career.
The network is not one who will continue supporting a talent that is obviously going astray. Besides, he was already missing his schedules, which did not give the network much choice but to drop him. With no projects at hand and involvement in negative situations, BA started to lose everything that he had worked for. Soon enough, he showed that he was indeed lost.
Taking pity on BA were people who tried to lead back into the fold. For a brief period, they attempted to prod him back to reality. They encouraged BA and gave him support. Meanwhile, the family he has known stood by in the wings and allowed these people to guide BA. As soon as the opportunity showed itself, BA seemed to be on his way to reclaiming what he had. However, a twist revealed that BA allegedly opted to return to his old self and missed the opportunity. There was no recourse but for his family to take him back. While all seemed okay, reality indicated that BA no longer has what it takes to revive his career and thus, he could no longer provide for his family. Allegedly, his family has become lukewarm to his return to their fold when they realized his comeback was a failure.
