Just Don’t Bother Me

Many things were expected from the young talent as she was growing up. Coming from a family of showbiz personalities and showing interest in the business, the young talent was thought to be the one who would continue the line that her family has started. However, the unraveling of her true self thwarted all plans. Thus, young talent could have been the princess (TP) of the network. For now, things are too muddled for her to claim such position.
Sometimes having a familiar last name and connections with celebrities could spell disaster when it comes to privacy. On the one hand, some talents complain of their lack of privacy, as ordinary people would stop them and request for selfies, or take unauthorized photos of their unguarded moments. On the other hand, local showbiz demands that privacy has to be sacrificed if one wants to succeed. Thus, a talent has to be friendly, keep a smile plastered on the face, and remain in a sunny disposition in public.
In the case of TP, she believed that she was entitled to her own world even if she really has not proven anything in her career, but a series of controversies. When TP was in a resort somewhere up north, the staff was excited and naturally, they planned to have a photo with her. Unfortunately, the staff was very disappointed at the way TP acted. She has not even made a few steps in the resort when the staff felt that she was too distant and exuded an air of “Don’t come near me.”
When the staff noticed that TP hardly smiled, no one dared to approach her because they feared she would snarl at them. Thus, during the stay of TP, the staff was all business-like and pretended they did not know her. They made sure to make her feel she was not famous at all and not worth their attention as well.
Competition in the network where TP belongs is stiff. First, most female talents could sing, dance, and act. Some even have awards for selling so many CDs, in acting, and in the box-office. Others are reliable when it comes to ratings for their teleseryes. In a stable, where female celebrities all have good looks and talent, the one who gets impressive projects and nurturing from the station is the one whom fans believe has a caring attitude. With all qualities equal, the one who really shines is the one who has won over public admiration. Sadly, TP has lost at that game.

Brushing Away Norms to Vie for His Affection

When Network Personality (NP) was launched among the new discoveries of the station some years ago, people were surprised at her being included. NP was not a looker, but she was not bad looking either. However, the station gave her opportunities to shine, and she did. NP was versatile, as she was effective in drama and comedy. As NP did not have the matinee idol looks, she was played supporting roles, which she did very well.
Although NP can be considered as not extra-ordinarily looking, she was once envied for being the girlfriend of one the Hottest Hunks (HH) at one time. However, NP and HH did not end up with each other. HH eventually got married to Sexy Actress (SA), while NP also gave marriage a try. NP then gave up her career for her family. Years passed and things did not turn out well. Instead of staying put and working things out, NP left her husband and resumed her career.
Showbiz was not unkind, as offers came. NP was back in circulation again. Being the good talent that she was, movies and teleserye appearances lined up one after the other. Beyond acting, NP can sing and dance. Sometimes, she even gets invited to provinces to perform.
As she was now single, she was, as the cliché goes, ready to mingle. However, NP is not with anyone from showbiz. The grapevine says that NP is allegedly involved with a member of a Prominent Clan (PC) of a province somewhere in one of the major islands of the country. PC carries a well-known family name that sometimes evokes fear from their rivals and residents. Nonetheless, the family is involved in serving the public and has been influential in the development of the area for decades.
While NP seems to have found a good match, PC is not the ideal partner because he happens to be committed to a powerful personality. Thus, NP is an alleged mistress of PC. Given that PC is not from showbiz, things are kept quiet. Besides, news of an extra-marital affair will definitely tarnish the prominent clan, especially during these times when people are giving the extra mile to serve the public.
Incidentally, NP said that one of her regrets was her affair with a married man. Is she eating her words now?
