Bistro Charlemagne is the newest creation by Little Asia offering a fusion of European and Asian delights. The menu is full of exciting takes on traditional recipes along with all time favourites from Little Asia. Owner Charlemagne Lim along with a celebrity chef have been developing and refining the menu for almost a year, proudly introducing nostalgic flavours with a refreshing twist.
The interiors are both comfortable and elegant, perfect for all occasions from casual shoppers, office workers, family gatherings or private functions. At very affordable prices the menu was created to please both palate and pocket. Portion sizes are guaranteed to impress and the range of dishes available means there is something for everyone.
As a third generation restaurateur, it has been a life long ambition for Charlemagne to be in the business. Still going strong since 2001, Charlemagne is now launching yet another concept from the success of the Little Asia brand to the premiere shopping and leisure destination of the south, Solenad 3 in Nuvali.
Prior to the doors opening last weekend on September 14, Bistro Charlemagne was chosen to cater for the Ariana Grande concert for all backstage and Ariana Grande herself. Little Asia has always been the pick for catering when it comes to international artists performing in Manila.

Must Choose Fame Over Friends

When they entered the awkward stage, Talents 1, 2, and 3 had to adjust to the circumstances. Their network was discovering talents from reality shows and the competition became tougher At one point, Talent 3 (T3) jumped ship and was given a good role in one the remakes of the rival network. However, she was called back and rejoined the network. This time, the network gave her a contract.
Being younger, Talent 1 (T1) had to remain in LS while Talent 2 (T2) was offered a role with T3. Not much was expected as T2 and T3 were just doing a remake. As both were new, they had much to prove and they had to make sure they would be able to amass followers. The remake caught everyone by surprise, as T2 and T3 were noticed for their acting. T3 was the one who was celebrated because of her goodie role. Thus, T2 was not expected to shine because she played the villainness. However, to the surprise of T3’s camp, the network secured the services of T2 and offered her a contract as well.
Time brings unpredictable situations because the network risked a project that portrayed T2 in a lead role. This project was well-received, which was also a surprise. Adding a feather to her cap, T2 earned praises because she could effectively play the heroine-villainness spectrum. The comparison between T2 and T3 worsened. Meanwhile, T1 remained the best friend of T3 and supported her by listening and giving advice.
When T3 was paired off with Phenom Performer, her attitude changed with the successful endorsements and projects. Thus, T2 was again left behind, as the network could not find a suitable reel partner for her. Moreover, people wondered why it seemed that T3 hardly showed support for T2. Allegedly, T3 was not allowed to attend the activities with T2 in the lead, as her camp was afraid that her fame would be used. In short, the camp assumed that T3 will be talked about to promote any activity of T2.
As T1 was maturing as well, she realized that something was already different and she was no longer comfortable with the new attitude of T3, particularly towards T2. Thus, she distanced herself. When T3 had a celebration, some guests who were familiar with their friendship, were surprised that T1 and T2 were not invited. This time, T3 already had a new set of friends. Thus, the silence between T1 and T3 continues to brew. While T2 sensed that T1 and T3 have a gap, she was clueless that it had something to do with her.

He Did Not Care for the Star

Whenever international male celebrities, whether they are entertainers or athletes, expect a deluge of female followers to attend their public and private engagements. The presence of female celebrities adds spice to the occasion. As among the most beautiful faces and bodies around, female celebrities sometimes become the persons of interest for visiting celebrities.
When Celebrity Athlete (CA) visited the country some time ago, female celebrities graced his event. Some even demonstrated their skills in his field to entertain CA. Among the women who were around where Transferee Starlet (TS) and Pretty Actress Host (PH). Given that CA happens to be among the good-looking players in his field, women taking interest in him was not uncommon. Thus, TS and PH played the field that time as well.
During the event, TS and PH projected themselves as though they were the most beautiful among the people in attendance. Other female celebrities who were invited did not behave as TS and PH did. Thus, people were a bit surprised at the attitude of TS and PH.
TS used to be part of a big network before she made the move. She has appeared in teleseryes and movies. At one time, she was even featured in a popular men’s magazine. Similarly, PH has graced various men’s magazines and appeared in movies as well. Unlike TS, PH has regular programs that showcase her versatility in the entertainment industry.
Given that TS and PH were chummy with CA, people around them could not help but think that they might have another agenda. CA is quite physically attractive and his reputation has even made him interesting. While the two women seemed to have a silent competition for the attention of CA, the athlete gravitated towards TS, and they moved on to somewhere more private. When PH realized that CA chose TS over her, she fumed. She was more beautiful, more popular, and had more star quality than TS. Fortunately, CA did not care about such and opted for the less popular but more voluptuous and single, TS.
What was odd during the event was that PH was behaving like she was a single lady, yet everyone knows that she is committed to a non-showbiz man. Perhaps, being with CA, who happens to have an international reputation, must be quite a catch for any local actress.
