The invitation of the management was intended for all actors who have teleseryes to join the big show abroad. As this show is the first to be staged at the other side of the globe, the talents of the network were excited to join the program. Not only will they be promoting their shows, but they will also be part of history. After all, fans coming from various areas have signified their coming over to the venue. Thus, the program was guaranteed to make an impact among the wide audience reach of the network.
While excitement was reverberating, One Actor (OA) seemed to have been missed out in the lineup. OA has a new project, which is expected to once again show his acting prowess that was missed for a time. Hence, OA was perfect to be part of the show. OA can sing and perform, and thus, he would be making a great contribution in entertaining fans. Yet, OA was dropped from the lineup. Before blaming the production, the outcome is the result of OA’s actions.
During the finalization of the lineup, the organizers received so many requests from OA, which they felt was OA making them feel that he has to be treated like a VIP. However, this action was seen as OA having an attitude problem again. In the said show, bigger actors than OA had no unreasonable requests, which is why the production could not understand the demands of OA.
So, what was the request OA wanted that the organizers could not adhere to? OA wanted to bring along Another Talent (AT). The organizers had to turn down this request as the budget was tight and AT is not as talented as the rest of the performers. Hence, AT would not really be doing anything during the trip. Speculations were raised as to why AT wanted to join OA. Being on his own, OA might suddenly vent his interest on other women in the area. If AT were there, then she could keep him at bay. Sadly, instead of understanding the career of OA, AT might even become a hurdle in his comeback to television.
Finally, at the last minute, AT could not accept that she is not part of the lineup so she used her connection and went straight to Someone Powerful SP. SP could not let AT down as they have a special bond. SP immediately comforted AT and granted her request. In the end, AT and SP went abroad without OA. OA also approached the organizers but they told him that all flights were booked already.
Incidentally, stories have been emerging that OA is back to drinking again. Worse, his attitude during the tapings is sometimes a problem. The people who know him and have witnessed his ups and downs are fearing that OA might backslide to his former self and lose everything that the past year has given him. Yet, another finger is pointing at AT, and thus, if she continues to have a hold on OA, his career might just end abruptly. OA should remember that other talents could easily replace him, and that there might not be a third chance.
