Sometime ago, the staff at a local pub got an unexpected call from Hunky Model Actor (HM), who was requesting for an escort as he was on his way to the said location. HM said that he feared he would be mobbed when he arrives. The staff was puzzled, as HM is not even a regular fixture in the big networks these days.

HM began his career when he won in a modeling contest. At that time, HM already had a well-shaped body and was generating attention from both females and gays. His boyish looks were so refreshing then that he was thought to become a highly sought after talent.

As years passed, HM could not surpass his contemporaries in terms of acting and appeal. Soon, he left his first network and joined the rival station, where he had ample exposure and even alleged romantic links with female talents. However, his fame remained on status quo, and worse, his name and face did not generate recall. After a couple of years and getting fewer projects, HM left his second network and moved to his third.

Most showbiz observers say that moving from one network to another can spell disaster to one’s career. While others were successful in terms of their network movement, most end up with worse careers and soon fade away. In HM’s case, a third network did not make a difference.

When HM arrived at his destination, no one paid attention to him, which is similar to the way people view treat him in his third network. Thus, the staff could not understand why HM even requested for four escorts. Why does HM think a crowd would mob him? Was he anticipating something else? After all, the grapevine is buzzing with HM’s other sideline, but that is another story.

Quite Alarming

Now it can be told! Beleaguered Actress BA whose star is waning, is in panic mode these days. Reportedly, BA is worried sick that her contract with network may not be renewed, something that would be a big blow to her and family.

Actually, BA, who is notoriety personified, must be feeling the blow much earlier when her movies were hardly making it at the box office, apart from the fact that she has no regular shows for quite a while. Hmmm, indeed alarming for this big spender BA.

Insiders have something to say though that it’s quite a risk to gamble on BA at this point, for the reasons cited above. But being smart that she is, surely BA felt that, too, such that before she gets eaten alive by her overwhelming problems, she decided to take big steps ahead. Step 1 - downsize her lifestyle.

Talks have it that BA sold her mansion for a sizable amount and decided to live in a condominium instead. The source revealed that BA wants to save the cash for rainy days just in case her network contract would indeed not be renewed. Uh oh…what happens now to her plan B, the big one she proudly proclaimed not too long ago? Allegedly, BA may not push through with it as she’s not quite ready to leave showbiz which is her ultimate bread and butter.

Now that the chips are down, how much more downsizing will BA hope to resolve? If at all, can the (new) man in her life take it? Ergo, can the spoiler and hopeless romantic BA be able face the music and tell her man to make ‘small’ sacrifices for the sake of their love? Who knows?
