Headstrong that she is, LG’s friends quip that she is lucky to have the patient and loving BG in her life.
However, LG doesn’t care one bit that she and BG haven’t spoken for many months. She is reportedly arrogant towards BG and continues to defy her countless times. The irony of it all is that despite her circumstance and substantial resources, LG lives in BG’s abode on a freeloading frenzy.
People remarked that LG had grown immature and callous from all the years of her carefree and free-spirited life. People in her circle are reportedly aghast at how LG can actually hate and badmouth BG and live with her at the same time.
Allegedly, what matters to LG is that she has a stable career and a lovelife that she is very proud of.
However, whenever Her Beloved HB is away, LG, like a mouse, would play. The many sightings of her drinking with wild abandon in the company of different men have given reasons for her critics to nail and judge her even more - and that includes the Family of HB FB. Indeed, whose family in its right mind would be pleased?
Reportedly, the clannish FB can never imagine seeing HB ending up with LG whose reputation and concept of family they find detestable.
Observers say that what LG is today seems to be a foregone conclusion - something that is already familiar to BG, at the very least.

Missing Jet, Iranian Threats, Prompt Israel to Tighten Air Security

With no trace of Beijing-bound flight MH370 after nine days, one of several theories that has emerged is that the plane was hijacked to Iran, where it could be turned into a massive and devastating weapon. Two Iranian passengers are known to have been aboard, travelling on false passports. While Israeli officials did not confirm any suspicions regarding Iran, experts said it is not a stretch to point the finger at Israel's middle east nemesis.
“My guess is based upon the stolen passports, and I believe Iran was involved [in the disappearance of the plane],” Issac Yeffet, formerly a global security expert for Israel’s national airline El Al told today’s Times of Israel. “They hijacked the aircraft and they landed it in a place that nobody can see or find it.”
As the search continued to widen fruitlessly, Israeli security officials and aviation authorities, who have long feared a 9/11-style attack, conducted a security assessment and rapidly implemented a series of security measures. The only one reported publicly is that Israeli air traffic controllers will demand that incoming aircraft identify themselves earlier than has so far been the case, sources told FoxNews.com.
IDF officials aim to ensure an unthinkable repetition of the Twin Towers attack doesn’t happen in Tel Aviv, where the skyscraping triple Azrieli Towers rise high above the city. There's good reason to believe the three-tower commercial-residential-office complex is a coveted target of the Islamic Republic.
In a recent video simulation broadcast by Iranian state TV after the initial agreement with the international community on a reduction in Iran’s nuclear capability was signed, the Azrieli Towers were shown being blown up by Iranian missiles.
The Israeli media has speculated that if Iran played a part in the disappearance of the plane, it is all but certain the regime would not have been directly involved. It would likely instead act through a third party, using one of the many international terror organizations Iran sponsors and maintaining plausible deniability. Tehran would not want to jeopardize the easing of international sanctions and other gains made recently at the Geneva negotiations with the US and the P5+1.
The recent interception of a boatload of Iranian M-302 missiles headed for Israel’s enemies in the Gaza Strip or Sinai Peninsula has given rise to further speculation in Israel that Iran might be considering all manner of means to strike back after such an embarrassing and damaging loss.
“This would never have happened on an Israeli plane,” Yeffet said. “An El Al aircraft was hijacked for the first and last time in 1968. Since then, there has not been a single flight where security did not check every single name.”
Yeffet believes that the time consuming and often-criticized profiling of every passenger at Israeli airports would have picked up the Iranians travelling on false papers.
Most flights to and from Israel require check-in three hours before the advertised flight time and passengers are often faced with many questions (some personal) that some people take exception to. The fact remains though that the Israeli method seems to work and has, thus far, proved watertight.
“More security costs more money,” Menachem Yarden, a retired El Al pilot with more than 37 years experience told Fox News.com. “Few companies these days are making money because of increased costs and relatively low ticket prices. Especially in the U.S., spending more money on security and telling people to come 3 hours before the flight – even if their flight time is just one hour – it’s crazy. No-one would fly.”
Asked if air marshals - allegedly placed on every El Al plane - might have made a difference to flight MH370 if, as some believe, it has been hijacked, Yarden said, “As El Al pilots we didn’t know all the security measures [put in place]. Security is a separate matter [to piloting] and the fewer people that know about it, the more secure it is.”
Yarden said it is possible such a huge aircraft could have flown thousands of miles undetected.
“Yes. It is possible to fly as low as the pilot is able,” Yarden confirmed. “When you switch off the transponder no civil controller can see you. In 9/11 the pilots switched off the transponders and no one saw them. It is not like military radar which sends electromagnetic pulses that receives back the echo via antenna.”
“In this extraordinary case any theory might be the right theory,” Yarden concluded. “No one knows what’s happened.”

Can't Go Free
When Pretty Boy PB was young and had not even joined showbiz yet, it is said that he was close and often in the company of Gay Friends GF. Reportedly, his GF’s were instrumental in his transition from a simple barrio lad to that of a matinee idol years after.
Having grown with a dysfunctional family, the lure of temptations was great on PB who had learned to be independent early on. Even then, his looks was his passport that brought him money and some little comfort.
Supposedly, PB’s Discoverer PD introduced him to his Rich Gay friend RG so that PB would be helped. Of course, there’s nothing like a free lunch - everything was always “strings attached.”
PB allegedly allowed himself to be used by PD, RG, and all the other GF’s he came in contact with. Those in the know alleged that they were all PB’s benefactors. PB just rolled with the punches and thrived on it.
Some say that PB may have felt like it was his dead-end option – he was so wrong.
The years that followed proved that PB was meant for something bigger than he dreamed of. He had talent and charisma after all. Now that he is in an enviable position, he is reportedly concerned that the scars of his past continue to haunt him.
Although some observers quip that PB’s past is not yet history, as he allegedly still continues to be a boytoy to anyone who needs him – but only when he is in dire need of them.
If this is true, PB could well be having difficulty getting out of a habit formed in years – just like some of his colleagues - Indie Veteran IV, Erotic Actor EA, and two Bedimpled Actors B1 and B2.

Gretchen Barretto Bails Claudine Barretto's Former Maid Out of Jail

Nineteen-year-old Dessa Patilan, who stayed at the Marikina City Jail for 10 months, emotionally faced reporters upon her release and thanked Gretchen for posting the P60,000 bail.
"Salamat po sa kanya, dahil kahit ganito lang po ako, tumulong pa rin po siya sa akin. Nagpapasalamat ako sa pag-bail niya sa akin," she said.
When Patilan was asked for her message to Claudine, her legal counsel, Atty. Alma Mallonga, offered to share a recent a conversation she had with her client.
Mallonga said she had asked Patilan whether she is still angry with Claudine for putting her in jail.
Recalling her answer, a tearful Patilan said, "Dati po, meron [akong galit na naramdaman sa kanya]. Wala na po [ngayon]... Si God na po bahala sa kanya."
Patilan was imprisoned in May last year after being accused by Claudine of stealing from her a watch worth P1.8 million and several jewelry amounting to P8.5 million earlier that month.
Four months later in September, Patilan filed a countercharge against Claudine, who she also accused of theft in relation to the same incident in May.
In her complaint, Patilan demanded from her former employer P13,550 in damages, P50,000 in moral damages, P50,000 in exemplary damages, as well as the monetary cost for legal services.
Patilan enumerated the items supposedly stolen by Claudine before she was sent to jail: a wallet, which contained P10,700 she had received as salary; an electronic tablet, which costs P3,000; a memory card worth P500; and her phone sim card, which costs P50.
Why Gretchen helped
Asked why Gretchen offered to post bail for Patilan, Mallonga on Monday said, "Because she thinks that doing the right thing is a good thing to do. 'Di ba, lahat sa atin, kung meron tayong paniniwala na meron tayong isang kabutihan na puwedeng gawin, gawin natin?"
"Actually we tried to have the bail reduced, pero medyo mahaba 'yung proseso. In any event, 'yung bail naman na 'yon, mababalik namin, e. So long as Dessa faces the charges, bumalik siya para harapin 'yung kaso, ['yung piyansa] ay parang pahiram lamang. Walang binibigay sa kanya, actually, pinapahiram lamang. At iyon ay confident kami, mababalik 'yung pera."
Referring to Patilan's ties with Gretchen, whose publicized with feud Claudine made headlines last year, Mallonga said their camp has always been forthcoming about the "Magkaribal" star's endorsement of the case to her.
"As I said, hindi ko naman inililihim na ang nagdala ng kaso sa akin at ang nakiusap kung puwedeng tingnan mo at kung puwedeng tulungan -- and we handled this pro bono -- was Gretchen," she said.
The lawyer added: "But I told Gretchen, noong umpisa pa lang, na, 'Alam mo, Gretchen, kahit mapawala namin iyan, kailangan niya ng tulong kung sino ang mag-aano ng piyansa sa kanya, for example.' And she said, 'Yes.'"
How Raymart is involved
Mallonga likewise, confirmed a statement by Claudine's legal counsel, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, last year that the former actress' estranged husband, TV star Raymart Santiago, is also involved in Patilan's case.
"Noong nag-file kami ng application for bail, ang last witness namin ay si Raymart," Mallonga said. "And Raymart categorically testified na 'yung sinasabing ninakaw na relos ay na sa kanya all throughout. 'Yung mga jewelry, actually wala siyang alam na jewelry at may mga fake na jewelry."
"Nahirapan kami doon kasi nag-po-protest sila. Ayaw nila mag-testify si Raymart, but it's done. And the judge acted very swiftly," she added.
Santiago also has ongoing legal battle with Claudine, who accused him of "physical, sexual, psychological and economic" abuse.
In the actor's counter-affidavit responding to Claudine's allegations, Gretchen and two other Barretto siblings, JJ and Marjorie, alleged their youngest sister is mentally ill and has a history of drug abuse.
Patilan: I attempted suicide
On Monday, an emotional Patilan recalled feeling hopeless about getting out of jail, until she learned of Gretchen's effort to help her through Mallonga.
Speaking with ABS-CBN News' Ginger Conejero, Patilan admitted that she attempted to commit suicide in October, but was stopped by fellow inmates.
"Dumating po 'yung time na 'yon na sobrang nandoon na po ako sa gilid, na parang wala na pong bukas. Iyon po 'yung nagtangka akong mag-ano sa sarili ko," Patilan said, as she gestured slashing her wrist.
"Para na pong bumabagsak ako, na hindi ko na po kaya, na wala na pong pag-asa. Buti nalang po, dumating po sila," she said.
Asked to clarify if she slashed her wrist in an attempt to take her life, Patilan nodded.
"'Yung mga kasama ko po [ang pumigil sa akin]. Sila na po ang gumamot sa akin," she said. "Lagi no po nila akong kinakausap, kasi simula po noong pumunta ako sa loob, hindi po ako nakikipag-usap, e. Nandoon lang po ako sa higaan ko."
According to Mallonga, Patilan is now orphaned and only has one sibling as her known family member. For now, the lawyer said Patilan will be staying at a center while she prepares to face the court cases she is involved in.
Noting her client earned a certificate in a massage course while in jail, Mallonga said, "We're looking forward na magkaroon siya ng productive na life ahead of her."
"Meron paring siyang hinaharap na kaso, ano, because she has just been set free on bail. But we are very confident about the case."

Roxanne Cabanero Unsure of the Exact Date of Alleged Rape

Source: www.abs-cbnnews.com
These were the words of Roxanne Cabenero as she insisted that actor-host Vhong Navarro indeed made advances on her four years ago while she was still a contestant in the Miss Bikini Philippines pageant.
Speaking to “Buzz ng Bayan” host Boy Abunda, Cabanero narrated what transpired in April 2010 when the rape allegedly happened as she claims in her sworn affidavit. She also explained the confusions regarding when and where the incident took place.
“Yung first niyang text sa akin ‘Hi, this is Vhong.’ Of course, natuwa ako nung nagtext siya sa akin. Sinabi ko sa ibang kandidata right after we left ABS-CBN,” she said.
“And then umuwi kami sa hotel and then nag-rehearsal kami. Nung time na 'yun I cannot recall which hotel. On the duration of the pageant, paiba-iba kami ng hotel. Nagche-check in kami sa different hotels. But definitely nag-check in kami sa Millenia Suites, which is in Pasig. Bumalik kami ng hotel and we kept on texting and then the time that he picked me up,” she added.
Cabanero, however, admitted that she is not sure of the exact date of the incident.
“Basta nung time na nag-check in kami sa Millenia Suites, one of those dates, he picked me up in the hotel. Nung nasa sasakyan na ako, nag-usap na kami, bigla niyang sinabi na let’s go somewhere private. Siyempre na-shock ako sa somewhere private,” she said.
Supporting his client’s claim, Atty. Virgilio Batalla said the rape happened anytime between April 24 to April 27, 2010.
Batalla said Navarro has been “misleading the public by inculcating to the mind of the public that the rape happened on the 24th where they can establish a very good alibi.”
“We know very well that Vhong is a celebrity and as a lawyer or anybody, you just click on Google to find out where is Vhong on the 24th. That is on the record. Why will we accuse him on the 24th if we know that he is there with everybody who can testify?” he said.
Meddling journalists?
Meanwhile, Batalla urged those who are not involved in the case to refrain from meddling, referring to journalist Tony Calvento, who earlier published a copy of Cabanero’s affidavit on his Facebook account.
“He should not meddle in this case. He is not the counsel of Vhong, he’s not the counsel of my client. He’s not even the prosecutor. Calvento should stop. This is not a public affair. This is private to my client and to Vhong,” Batalla said.
Saying she felt violated by what Calvento did, Cabanero said: “Gusto ko ng hustiya. Sa mga sinasabi ng tao, sa lahat ng masasakit na salita na binibitawan nila, sa ginawa ni Mr. Calvento, putting my personal complaint affidavit on Facebook is out of respect. Binastos niya ako.”
Calvento, however, maintained he is not an irresponsible journalist and he sees nothing wrong with publishing Cabanero’s affidavit online.
“Ako’y napasok sa kasong ito dahil lumapit ang isang mutual friend. We met, Atty. Mallonga, then Atty Dennis Manalo was with the team and Chito Rono. Humingi sila ng assistance. Kasama iyan sa aking trabaho. I’ve been doing that for over two decades,” he said.
“Si Atty. Batalla, ngayon ko lang narinig ang pangalan na iyan. Sino siya para sabihing tumigil ako? Kay Roxanne, I am not an irresponsible print and broadcast journalist. Saan ang binastos ko sa affidavit niya? When pinublish ko ang kanyang affidavit, which is a public document, after she had sworn, nilagay ko pa nga doon ay name withheld, I withheld her name. Kapag rape victim ang pinag-uusapan, hindi mo binabanggit ang pangalan. Hindi mo nga pinapakita ang mukha. Pero sino ba ang lumabas at nagpa-interview?” he said.
Cabanero's filed her rape complaint against Navarro amid the controversy surrounding a January 22 mauling incident which left the actor with serious injuries.
She denied having any ties with any of the eight respondents in the criminal charges filed by Navarro, including businessman Cedric Lee and model Deniece Cornejo, adding she does not want her to case to be affected by the legal battle in relation to the mauling in Taguig.
The Pasig City Prosecutor's Office is set to hold a hearing on Navarro's perjury complaint against Cabanero in the coming weeks.
