As expected, LW 's persona did not sit well with the so-called " moralistas," who were scandalized with LW 's pronouncements especially about sensitive matters like sex. Nevertheless, the head-strong LW was able to survive it all, and even won accolades as a thespian.
At present, even in her advancing age, LW is still desirable and unstoppable. She continues to live her life with such passion, never allowing the years to cripple her from doing what she wants and does best. She was, and still is very capable of anything, anytime, anywhere. And how?
The public may see nothing wrong if LW is regularly seen in the company of a much younger and once Popular Actor PA - as they have something in common. Both occasionally meet, mostly with their colleagues, to discuss some matters pertaining to their group. But what is appalling is that they have allegedly become more than just org-mates. LW and the equally deviant PA have found each other to share one more thing they both love. The two are now reportedly f buddies.
At the home of LW one day, she and PA were reportedly doing it so passionately when LW's child caught them in the room. But the child - probably so used to LW's shenanigans - just told her to be careful and not be caught red-handed by the child's father. And how did PA react? Well, he probably thought that if LW can be so upfront even with her child, why would he be bothered by his wife?

Pinoys Get ‘Augmented Reality’ Treatment at Smart’s First Interactive Concert
Virtual and physical worlds will collide as wireless leader Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) brings augmented reality technology to the Smart Bro Live and Loud concert, the telco’s first-ever interactive music event that will put audiences in control of their entertainment choices.
Using only their smartphones and tablets, Filipinos who want to experience augmented reality (AR) technology can simply point their devices at any Smart Bro Live and Loud concert poster scattered across Metro Manila and published in major newspapers to experience this unique innovation firsthand.
The AR-powered posters are located in Smart stores, gadget and PC outlets around major malls in Metro Manila, including those located Robinson’s Galleria, SM North EDSA, SM Megamall, SM Fairview, Glorietta 2, Alabang Town Center, and Trinoma, among many others.
As an added bonus, smartphone and tablet users who are willing to try out this interactive technology will be rewarded at the end of the experience by entering Smart Bro’s Live and Loud Microsite and register for free tickets to the concert, happening on October 4 at the TriNoMa Mindanao Parking area.
Users only need to download an app called “Zappar” and install it on their Android or iOS device to experience this unique innovation. By pointing the app’s camera at the Smart Bro Live and Loud concert poster, they will instantly be treated to an exciting video experience that will give themmore info on how to enjoy and view the concert.
“Augmented reality gives users dynamic and relevant content they can enjoy on the spot, without having to log on to their notebooks or desktop computers,” explained Michelle Curran, Data and International Services Marketing Head at Smart. “With this innovation, we take engagement to the next level as we prepare to mount Smart’s first-ever interactive concert.”
AR, now made popular by new technologies such as Nokia’s CityLens and the upcoming Google Glass, provides a live and direct view of the physical environment augmented by computer-generated data such as videos, photos, or GPS information to enhance the user experience.
While pointing a device’s camera on a street, for example, electronic data can be placed over buildings and establishments to show its business name, contact details, promotional activities, and other information relevant to the user.
Two of the country’s top newspapers already employ this technology to breathe new life to their static print output, while a number of magazines and other publications use AR to produce more dynamic content for their audience—such as models seemingly coming to life and jumping out of the paper to interact with the reader.
Already an interactive feat by itself, the Smart Bro Live and Loud concert will pool four of the country’s top iconic OPM acts, namely Raimund Marasigan, Barbie Almalbis, Rico Blanco, and Ely Buendia, to perform on a single stage controlled digitally by concert-goers and viewers at home.
The live audience during the concert proper gets the power to control the stage, from setting the platform ablaze with jet sparks to releasing haze and streams of smoke heightening the mystery and excitement of each performance, and even discharging beaming laser lights across the venue, giving the total concert experience to the hands of concert-goers and watchers.
The Smart Bro Live and Loud concert also allows people to vote online at smart.com.ph/LiveandLoud for the top 3 songs that each of the artists will sing solo and collaboratively during the concert.
Subscribers, meanwhile, can get free tickets to the concert through the Live and Loud portal, but those who can’t make it to the concert day itself can view the show through a livestream service accessible via the dedicated microsite and through Smart’s YouTube channel.
“Broadband Internet has empowered many facets of Filipinos’ lives by delivering rich content that they wouldn’t otherwise experience on other platforms. With the Smart Bro Live and Loud concert and its various interactive features, users get the power to control the concert experience, the same way they are empowered to do a lot of new and exciting things using broadband Internet,” Curran added.
For more information on ticket availability and to vote for your favorite songs to be performed live during the October 4 concert, visit smart.com.ph/LiveandLoud.

A Catastrophic Affair
For the longest time, people close to G always had reservations towards B whom they felt was only out to use G for his personal interest. His alleged chronic attitude and were of no help to calm them down. Yet, even from G's camp, there were also malicious talks that B was up for a personal gain in committing herself to him. Using G's penchant for good looks, and her past affairs as their benchmark, her bashers said that no way can B ever measure up.
However, if reports are to be believed, G's loved ones did have a point in rejecting B. Apart from what were already exposed, which were barely scratching the surface - there were also accusations of B being an womanizer. Reports had it that one of the many reasons why his Former Partner FP gave up on B was because of his alleged philandering. Many were privy to B's unlimited appetite for the femme fatale - of all shapes and sizes. He has been in this for so long so much so that he had reportedly contracted a disease. The blow to FP was so serious, the last straw for her to finally call it quits.
At the moment, B & G are taking their sweet time savoring every moment proving their detractors wrong. Meanwhile, they better be consistent as one bad move is reason enough for these critics to gloat to their content.

Gretchen Barretto : "Claudine Confined at Hospital Basement!"
Source: www.abs-cbnnews.com
MANILA - Socialite actress Gretchen Barretto finally confirmed rumors that her youngest sister Claudine Barretto was confined in a hospital for drug use.
In a statement sent exclusively to entertainment portal Pep.ph, Gretchen finally broke her silence after their father, Miguel Barretto asked them to drop their surname if they are ashamed of it. The statement confirmed the earlier claim of Claudine's husband, Raymart Santiago, that Claudine used illegal substances.
In her statement, Gretchen recalled that in January 2011, Mr. Barretto pretended to suffer from heart attack and was confined in Medical City.
"That was just a ploy to get Claudine confined at the basement for her severe drug abuse and mental condition."
"My brother, Mito, and his wife Connie, their son John, Marjorie and my parents planned and witnessed the confinement," Gretchen said.
She then revealed that Claudine's treatment for drug addiction was continued in a private clinic in Chana, Thailand.
In December 21, 2012, Mr. Barretto called for a family meeting.
"He said that he had just come from a meeting that morning with Ms. Eos Capistrano, a counselor from White Plains who said Claudine needed to be confined at the basement 12-18 months minimum. And that it was a choice of confining her at the basement or seeing her in the morgue at the rate she's going. I remind him again that I am just repeating exactly what he said then. My father told us that his choice was to see Claudine in the basement and, of course, we all wanted the same thing."
"I believe that it is up to my parents to own up to the truth to make this possible. It is not important now to point fingers as to who, what, why. We do not need to cover up anyone's stories or put up a front to avoid shame. We are beyond that. We hear Claudine's cry for help. Why can't you?"
Below is the full statement of Gretchen as released by Pep.ph on Wednesday.
GRETCHEN’ BARRETTO'S FULL STATEMENT
I have suffered long and hard in silence all through the verbal, physical, financial and, most painful of all, emotional abuse from my very own parents.
In April 2013, in spite of the attacks on my character from my mother (who publicly disowned me) and Gia Barretto-Reyes (who fabricated stories), I chose to deal with my pain privately.
Today, after the false statements made by my father, I feel I've earned the right to say my piece.
As to whether they are bad parents or they raised bad children—we all know that all children are born good and pure. How they turn out, whether good or bad, will reflect on the parents.
I recall from a very young age my mother saying when asked how many children they have, would say "I have 7 monsters" and maybe in her eyes, we were and still are.
It pains me to be depicted by our parents as the ‘bad children’ who are only out to ‘bully’ Claudine. Everyone knows NO ONE can bully Claudine! No one will dare.
We supposedly envy her success, which our father says, is ‘sibling rivalry.’ Why would we seek the destruction of our sister? What possible benefit does that give us?
We are happy with the lives we have and we are content and happy. But it certainly does not add to our happiness to see this family drama played out in public.
He also said that we should back off. "Tumahimik na kami." But I realized that "puede akong manahimik pero hindi ako matatahimik".
What JJ, Marjorie and I are prepared to do is to defend ourselves from repeated lies, from undeserved attacks, and from the idea that each of us can be sacrificed and that our lives can be ripped apart to promote the illusion that all is well with Claudine.
My father said that Raymart is promoting a lie in exposing Claudine's history of drug abuse.
We are not willing participants in Claudine’s war against Raymart. But she forced us to speak out when she named us in her complaint-affidavit, weaving her tale of ‘abusive sisters.’
We submitted our affidavits, guided by one simple, unbending rule: to tell the truth. We swore to tell the truth and we told the truth.
And Raymart is telling the truth.
I would like to remind my father that in January 2011, he pretended to have suffered a heart attack and confined himself in Medical City and got my sister-in-law, Connie, to call Claudine at 2 a.m. so she could go to the hospital.
However, that was just a ploy to get Claudine confined at the basement for her severe drug abuse and mental condition.
My brother, Mito, and his wife Connie, their son John, Marjorie and my parents planned and witnessed the confinement.
The following month, Claudine's treatment for drug abuse was continued in a private clinic in Chana, Thailand. After arriving back in the country, she had counseling with Mr. Dondi Ayuyao.
Again, I would like to remind my father of a family meeting that he called Connie, JJ, Marjorie, John and myself to attend at 3 p.m. on December 21, 2012 at Da-Ude Tea Place at the Fort.
He said that he had just come from a meeting that morning with Ms. Eos Capistrano, a counsellor from White Plains who said Claudine needed to be confined at the basement 12-18 months minimum.
And that it was a choice of confining her at the basement or seeing her in the morgue at the rate she's going.
I remind him again that I am just repeating exactly what he said then. My father told us that his choice was to see Claudine in the basement and, of course, we all wanted the same thing.
Our family has, for the longest time, struggled with the problem of how to deal with Claudine's problem.
Sadly, we now recognize that any effort to help her was doomed to fail because my parents are not capable of dealing with the truth. Another example of this is the drug test result they recently showed to the press.
We did not reject our parents. They rejected us.
Sadly, they mistake our concern as envy, and our refusal to support their lies as betrayal.
Whether they believe it or not, we care for Claudine.
However, the Claudine that we see and experience now is not the Claudine we used to know.
In my quiet moments, I am in desperate search of that Claudine.
The sweet Claudine, the loving Claudine, the caring Claudine.
Our hardworking and successful baby sister who brought so much pride and joy to the family.
In a perfect world when I dream everything and anything is possible, I'd like to believe that I can see the vibrant, loving, caring, generous and beautiful Claudine, come back.
I believe that it is up to my parents to own up to the truth to make this possible.
It is not important now to point fingers as to who, what, why.
We do not need to cover up anyone's stories or put up a front to avoid shame.
We are beyond that.
We hear Claudine's cry for help. Why can't you?
