Speaking Her Mind against the Keen Competition
A few days ago, FA and SA had a rehearsal for a production number with two other female performers. Their number involved lifting, and thus, each step should be carefully executed and timed well. If the steps are not properly executed, accidents might happen. Someone like SA is quite familiar with similar accidents that could happen in a live show.
Unfortunately, during the rehearsal, SA could not get the steps correctly. The stopping and repeating of the routine delayed their practice. Impatiently, FA approached the choreographer and said that the likes of SA should not be involved in a complicated number. Furthermore, FA said SA is difficult to teach, and SA should not be in such a complicated routine that involves lifting. FA added that SA should just lip synch and do her “tweetums” stuff on stage.
Well, if SA heard what FA said, how would she have reacted?

Charice Pempengco to Marry Alyssa Quijano 'In the Future'
Source: www.abs-cbnnews.com
In a live interview with "The Buzz" aired on Sunday, Charice said Quijano has been her source of strength throughout the 10 years they have known each other.
"Nung day na naging kami, dream come true 'yun sa akin. Pinaka the best 'yun sa akin dahil first time kong naipaglaban nang sobra yung taong mahal ko," Charice said.
Asked about that rumors that she is already planning to marry Quijano abroad, the singer openly answered, "in the future."
"Malinaw sa akin. Nakikita ko siya sa future ko," Charice said. "Di ko masasabing matagal pa. Siya na talaga."
Christmas wish
Meanwhile, Charice admitted that she is still missing her mother, Raquel Pempengco, and younger brother, Carl.
The singer has not talked with her family since coming out as a lesbian months ago.
"Especially malapit na ang Christmas, nandoon 'yung wish ko na magkaintindihan [kaming lahat]," she said.
While Charice feels loved by her supporters and friends despite her sexual orientation, the singer said it's still different when it comes from her family.
"Kahit lahat ng tao sa mundo sabihin sa akin na proud sila sa akin, iba ang feeling kapag sa kanila galing," a teary-eyed Charice said.
Aiza's advice
Also, in a live interview with "The Buzz," acoustic singer Aiza Seguerra admitted she also had a hard time with her family when she told them that she is a lesbian.
"All that she's been going through, I've been there," Seguerra said, "It wasn't that easy too. Kung baga, for more than a year, you're having a conflict with your family."
The acoustic singer recalled that during those trying days, she always told herself that all things come to pass.
"Take in whatever you need to take in. Ilabas mo sa buhay mo ang dapat mong ilabas. After that you'll emerge stronger," she told Charice.
'The Power of Two'
Charice and Seguerra will be performing together in the concert "The Power of Two: The Unbreakable Tour" at the Araneta Coliseum on September 28.
Seguerra said the concert's concept will center on empowering people to be true to themselves, just like what she and Charice did when they admitted their sexual orientation.
"For this show, we want to tell the people na it's okay to be who you are... It's better if you don't hide, and it's better to love yourself. Kasi when you love yourself, ipapakita noon kung sino ka talaga and people will love you," Seguerra explained.

A Clever Performance
Although married to a media personality, LP is quite low-key and hardly ever in the news. When some of his family members were once controversial, LP remained muted. Only when he ran for public office and won did he become to get noticed – for the wrong reasons.
Prior to politics, even while being married to MW, the family’s lifestyle was just regular by standards – as in ordinary middle class. She with her television commitments while he in his corporate world. But that isn’t so in the now. Some people within the couple’s circle have noticed a big difference ever since LP joined the political bandwagon.
Reportedly after winning the elections, LP and MW family’s lifestyle had drastically changed. For one, the once simple abode has now reportedly transformed into a mansion. Their kids now get to travel abroad as frequently as they like. One or two of them are currently enrolled in a prestigious university abroad. These and more happened within LP’s first term in office. Is this how lucrative being in government has become?
How much is the salary of an elected government official and a media person? Does that equate to something so huge as to afford such a lifestyle? Hmmm..quite seamless execution.
Some say that generally, LP’s side of the family is low profile at best, yet scandalously controversial at some point in time. Right now, it is the younger LP who is in the public eye, fueled as it is with the gigantic controversies that have surfaced in the recent past. Fortunately for him, compared to others who are similarly situated, LP is still out of the radar – for now.

Willie Revillame Concedes to 'Showtime' and 'Eat Bulaga'
Source: www.abs-cbnnews.com
Willie Revillame has admitted that the viewership of his noontime program aired on TV5 "fell below expectations," as the controversial host gears up for the show's last month on air and his planned retirement.
The 52-year-old TV host shared the ratings disappointment in a feature on Revillame's Wil Tower Mall published Wednesday on the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Revillame spoke about "Wowowillie," which is aired in the same timeslot as ABS-CBN's "It's Showtime" and TAPE's "Eat Bulaga."
Referring to the hosts of the 34-year-old program aired on GMA-7, Revillame said, "No one can beat the rapport of Tito (Sotto), Vic (Sotto) and Joey (de Leon)."
"No matter how good your show is, if the signal is not strong, people won't watch you," the former ABS-CBN star added.
Whereas both "Eat Bulaga" and "It's Showtime" have consistently placed in the Top 20 programs nationwide, according to multinational market research group Kantar Media, "Wowowillie" has repeatedly lagged behind its rival shows by as much as 10 percentage points in national TV ratings.
The latest TV ratings data of Kantar Media released on Wednesday, for instance, shows that "Eat Bulaga" and "It's Showtime" garnered nationwide ratings of 16.3% and 13.7%, respectively, on September 9, while "Wowowillie" only registered 2.9% on the same day.
Kantar Media uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes, representing 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population.
Show's end, retirement
"Wowowillie," which has undergone numerous revamps since its 2010 debut as "Willing Willie," is set to air its last episode on October 12, Revillame said.
He first announced the game show's end in May, saying he has opted not to renew his contract with the Manny Pangilinan-owned network.
"My life was about TV hosting and entertainment. When I talked to Sen. [Manuel] Villar (Revillame's business partner), my perspective changed. You have to be stable," said the TV host, who has four children from four past relationships.
"I thought of the future — not just for my family. I want to share my success with the less fortunate. All these (points to a table) will turn to dust. As long as I live, I want to do something that will make people happy. Life is about giving and forgiving. The world doesn't have to see," Revillame said.
