His Pointed Demeanor

One may say a star has "arrived" when her/his presence alone in an event or gathering commands a substantial fee - aka appearance fee. If the price is right, a celebrity will appear smiling and waving at the fans and audience and perform. Any talent or manager will grab at any chance.
In
a provincial gig along with other young talents, this
laid-back-looking hot artist HA was the star performer. Right there at
the start, fans immediately noticed the obvious cold and fake smile of
HA. Some even commented that his smile must have cost so much that HA
could hardly give it away. Indeed, his demeanor in the entire event left
so much to be desired.
While
HA was performing, a group of eager kids gave him flowers which HA
accepted and immediately handed to his bodyguard. When those same kids
asked if they could have a photo with him, HA suddenly moved away, which
was a non-verbal cue for “No pictures.” The kids were not only hurt and
disappointed - they felt rejected. Those who witnessed the act said
sarcastically that maybe "picture-taking" with HA required a separate
fee as well.
At
one point during his performance, the microphone malfunctioned. A young
boy went onstage to hand HA a working microphone. To the surprise of
the audience, HA rudely grabbed the microphone from the boy, then
continued with his performance. It was such a public display of
arrogance at its worst.
For a star of HA's status, is not being rude asking too much?
While
HA may be at the height of his popularity at the moment, everyone knows
that he has yet to prove his might at the box office - to be called a
legit phenomenon. HA should not get drowned so easily on his dizzying
success. To his handlers and managers, don't be so crazy with numbers
all the time. Have your ward learn some things he so badly needs - some
good PR and EQ towards his fans won't hurt. Just saying.

Daniel Padilla Irked about Comparisons with Charice Pempengco

MANILA, Philippines -- Young actor Daniel Padilla wants to put an end to comparisons between him and singer Charice just because they have the same hairstyle.
Charice has become the target of criticism, particularly in social media, for allegedly copying the hairstyle of Padilla since admitted on TV that she is a lesbian.
"Ayan. Gusto ko ngang linawin. Bakit ba natin ginagawang big deal ito? 'Yung sa buhok, napakaliit na bagay. Huwag nating palakihin dahil hindi kailangan," Padilla told reporters during the launch of his newest endorsement Lily's Peanut Butter on Tuesday.
"Hindi lang naman ako 'yung may ganitong buhok. Bigyan natin si Charice (ng pagkakataon) ...Huwag natin siyang gawin parang ako dahil hindi naman ganoon," he added.
Padilla said he can't even compare himself to Charice, who has achieved so much in her career.
"Saka si Charice na 'yon. Huwag niyo akong ikumpara. Ang taas na noon para sa akin," he said.
Padilla then appealed to public to respect the singer who has brought honor to the country.
"Mali (ang magkumpara) hindi pwedeng ganoon. Respetuhin natin si Charice dahil naging pride din ng Filipino 'yan," Padilla stressed.
In an interview last month, Charice said that she is not trying to copy Padilla.
"Hindi po intention 'yon. Sana hindi mapikon si Bro (Daniel). Siyempre 'yung mga fans niya, OK," Charice said.
Currently, Padilla is gearing up for his upcoming series "Got To Believe" with Kathryn Bernardo.

His Evident Preference

Hunky Guy HG has grown in the industry as a commercial model before he was contracted by his management/network under their wings. Blessed physically, it is no wonder that he gets a good chunk of endorsements while his face is prominently seen on billboards and TV commercials. HG has undeniably become one of the country’s most sought-after actors and bankable endorsers.
Girls swooning over him is a no-brainer, as being attractive and fit are his big plus. At a young age, HG’s discipline both in his personal and professional life is incredible. His professionalism at work speaks volumes about his heart and maturity. Production staff and fans have only good words for HG who treats them well.
HG tries to be decent in his relationships, never loud and scandalous. However he is often hounded by rumors about his sexual preference which he just takes with a grain of salt. To him, what’s important is he is at peace, has a blooming career and a family he can come home to.
His latest affair with young actress YA didn’t prosper like the others before. Some reasons – or excuses were laid such as HG being a tightwad boyfriend. But of course, whether that is true or not, observers say the bottomline is still HG’s gender issues. What girl would want to get involved if true?
Are several sightings of HG in awkward situations a validation of such claim? Don’t look now but his latest sighting was kind of brave and daring. He was at a parking lot of a high-end mall seen walking ‘holding hands’ with a good-looking guy. The boldness of HG to have done that in public was amazing - a real tough act! The paparazzi’s only regret was that his shock overtook him that he wasn’t able to take a shot of what could have been the most explosive photo of them all. Uh oh!
At any rate, is HG now slowly telegraphing his answer to all “concerned?” Wish I have the yes answer.
“It's no secret that we all are going to die someday, so why not live your life in courage and spiritual strength...because if man is living in fear he will be a lost soul even in death.”

Some Queer Maneuvers

Pretty songstress PS is a relative newcomer in the industry. Quite
talented and seemingly naive, PS is so eager to prove herself. But most
times, her over-eagerness seems like being too forward that turns off
even her fans and co-stars. For a newbie, PS was lucky to get paired
with a big star BS in a movie, and soon after, her network gave her a
follow up project opposite brawny actor BA.
Many observers say that PS and BA’s primetime gig wasn't received very well by TV audience partly because of PS' raw acting skills and her not-so-beautiful onscreen chemistry with BA. Yet it seems it had started a beautiful (and probably) secret closeness she now has with BA.
Sparks must have flown between BA and PS as sources say that BA regularly invites PS in his house for exercise and workouts together in his personal gym. Heard from the grapevine that those workouts allegedly often last till the wee hours of the morning.
In one of their workout sessions, a production staff came to pick them up when it was taking them too long to report for a show rehearsal. Guess what the staff saw when she got to the house: BA and PS were locked in a passionate kiss!
Nothing wrong with a kiss, but what's strange is that BA and PS are often strongly rumored to be gays. Well, apparently, the two of them flex not only their muscles, but also their gender. Hmm...
