Show Actor 1 (SA1) was so impressed with Show Actor 2 (SA2) that she said if they weren’t wearing the mandated masks and shields, she would sniff him. SA2 was flattered.
As their work progressed, SA1 realized her initial assumption was turning into a nightmare. There was something she could smell when doing scenes with SA2. SA1 thought the smell could be the result of stress or an internal body problem. However, her dilemma was how to let SA2 know without offending.
SA1 asked Show Actor 3 (SA3) if she noticed something during her scenes with SA2. SA3 admitted there was something in the air but it was tolerable. Nonetheless, the two planned on letting SA2 know that they were uncomfortable without making him embarrassed.
During their break, SA1 and SA3 talked about oral hygiene within hearing distance of SA2. The two talked about their hygiene routine before coming to the set. They agreed on brushing and gargling prior to facing their co-actors. One of them suddenly turned to SA2 and asked his opinion on good oral hygiene among actors. SA2 replied that having undesirable hygiene is irresponsible and insensitive. Then, SA3 asked about his mouthwash brand. SA2 said the brand and vouched for its effectiveness.
The following day, SA1 and SA3 noted that something changed with SA2. He was smelling fresh and desirable. The suspicious smell was no longer around. SA1 and SA3 smiled in triumph and the shoot proceeded smoothly.
