They Tried

The pressure to maintain and bring their relationship to permanent status took its toll on Relaxed Beau (RB) and Female Celebrity (FC). When RB and FC met, sparks flew and the attraction was undeniable. However, work demands kept their relationship a secret until everything was obvious. They were initially careful in upsetting fans who hoped they would end up with someone else.

The falling in love part was easy and the two gave in. As time passed, RB and FC got to know each other better. They saw how each one behaved as ordinary people, and no longer in the image of the roles they play in projects or what their management tells them to be like in public. Being together brought out the best and worst of the two. Spending time with each other proved that they were looking for something else and the initial love was insufficient.

Before dismissing their relationship in a snap, as they could no longer get along, RB and FC tried to salvage what they had. Contrary to public perception that the two merely went with the flow, which means ending the relationship without effort, the two allegedly tried to salvage their relationship by attending counseling. In other words, they did not merely leave each other. They tried, but counseling was not enough.

Given the inevitable ending, RB and FC parted ways, but are civil toward each other, as the world they move in is small and bumping into each other cannot be avoided.

Don’t Ask Me

Secured Actor (SA) seems to have the best of everything. He has a stable career, which enables him to explore various opportunities the industry has to offer. His hard work has paid off and his family lives comfortable. On top of his successes, he shares his life with Tolerant Girlfriend (TG).

Over the years, TG and SA have developed an understanding, which works well for them and their fans. Fans love seeing the two work together. However, SA and TG have set a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ rule on certain matters.

Elderly Housemate (EH) of SA noticed that Frequent Visitor (FV) was spending much time with SA at home. SA said that FV was a close friend with whom he shares his passion and non-showbiz interests. One time, TG dropped by unannounced and went straight to the room of SA. Before she could reach his room, she was shocked.

TG saw FV coming out of SA’s room. SA immediately broke the awkwardness and introduced FV to TG. SA assured TG that FV was safe, as he had undergone swab tests. TG kept quiet and did not bother to probe what the two were doing in SA’s room. After all, TG has caught SA in similar awkward situations and just tolerated him.
