Clandestine Deed

During a wedding, guests were impressed at the grandiosity of the event. The venues were significant locations and the celebrity couple’s rite and vows captured the love between the two. However, a group of guests could not help but wonder about the financial standing of The Groom (TG).
One of the older guests said that TG had much help. Years ago, TG was introduced to an Influential Personality (IP) for projects. As TG and IP spent time together, the latter grew fond of the former. After a few months, TG strengthened his position and continued his services for IP. TG had work and his pockets were happy.
IP was quite generous as well and the talk during the wedding continued. According to the talk, IP gave a substantial amount for the wedding and prior to the big day, gave TG a very expensive gift that he will cherish and enjoy for the rest of his life. Further, TG remains loyal to IP and now has fast access to his major sponsor. Apparently, those who heard the story no longer wondered how TG could live in opulence.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Tuesday, April 14, issued a subpoena to Senator Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III over a complaint for violation of the notifiable diseases law when he breached the government's quarantine protocols.
"Subpoena to Sen Koko and complainant released today," Prosecutor General Ben Malcontento told reporters Tuesday.
Malcontento said the preliminary hearing is tentatively set for May 20, assuming that the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) had been lifted by then. The lockdown, which was supposed to end on April 12, was extended to April 30.
Commenting on the DOJ subpoena, Pimentel said: "My lawyers will do what is necessary. I will defer to them."
Rico Quicho, former law dean of the University of Makati, and the one who filed the complaint, said he has been ordered by the DOJ to personally appear before prosecutors to swear on his complaint under oath.
"Just received an Order from the DOJ to appear within 5 days from lifting of ECQ and to file hard copy of Complaint vs Koko Pimentel together with Annexes and to swear under oath," Quicho said in a Facebook post.
Quicho had sued Pimentel for violation of Republic Act No. 11332, also known as the Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases Act, which punishes under Section 9(e) the non-cooperation of "person or entities identified as having the notifiable disease." Pimentel had flu symptoms on March 14 and was tested for coronavirus on March 20. As such, he should have been under quarantine until March 28.
But on March 25, the senator went to the Makati Medical Center with his wife Kathryna – who was due to deliver their child.
The Makati Medical Center had slammed Pimentel's actions as irresponsible and reckless. The hospital also had to disinfect the ward visited by Pimentel, further affecting already limited hospital resources.
The DOJ investigation is separate from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) probe into Pimentel.
The DOJ was earlier criticized for refusing to act on Pimentel's breach, saying it needed a complaint to be filed first.

Learning Error

Desire can be a complicated feeling and consequences are realized a bit too late when a career is at stake. When Cute Actor (CA) saw Female Model (FM), he started to follow her social media. Soon, CA liked FM’s photos and she was ecstatic, as she had a secret crush of CA. As the circle is not that big, CA and FM met and hit it off.
When FM felt CA seems to have intentions for her, she hesitated. She knew she would be facing the wrath of fans who will not like the idea of CA seeing another woman. However, CA was persistent and pursued FM. He would send her private messages in apps that were highly encrypted, such as Telegram.
Soon, they were dating away from the radars of CA’s fans and handler. One thing led to another and their relationship allegedly became intimate. CA would even spend much of his time at FM’s crib. Everything was going smoothly, as CA knew how to balance his showbiz image with his private affair.
On the one hand, CA was intent on FM as a private partner. On the other hand, he was expressing sweet thoughts to his Reel Partner (RP). Since they started their careers, CA and RP had been inseparable. CA would say that he likes being with RP, which flattered her to the point of hoping. While CA would profess admiration in public, RP would remain reserved, but in silence, she pined for him. Even the family of CA loves RP and treats her like family. Thus, RP became close to CA’s family easily.
As they became close, CA and RP promised not to keep secrets to each other. However, CA kept one secret from RP and his family, which is the existence of FM in his life. His visits to FM were done in private and he was confident that he had his affairs in order until his secret was discovered. A Handler (AH) found out that CA has been seeing FM on the side. CA was then warned of the repercussion of his choice, He was reminded that RP can survive without him and he needs her professionally. As fans love them together, FM’s presence will stir up hate in their fandom.
No secret can be kept and the story of CA and FM reached RP. RP was hurt and very disappointed, as they had an agreement not to wreck their love team. She realized that she was moved by the sweet gestures of CA, whom she considered as a potential real partner. The hurt deepened when photos of CA in FM’s crib were posted online. CA tried to talk to RP, but she refused.
Expectedly, CA was bashed and he had to seek help from Network Insider (NI). CA said that he wanted to save the loveteam and asked if NI can do something. NI talked to RP and asked if she could do something to calm down their fans. RP agreed, but she deleted most of her photos with CA. Meanwhile, CA realized that his momentary relations with FM might end his career. Thus, CA started to avoid FM, but it was too late. Allegedly, FM is determined to keep CA in her life and she’s willing to reveal evidence that would prove she and CA had a thing going.
