Money talks and Influential Mother (IM) will use her resources to ensure her kids have the future they deserve. One day, IM found out that Her Son (HS) is fancying Network Starlet (NS). IM worried as she wants HS to complete his studies before entering a serious relationship. Moreover, someone from showbiz might not be a good idea.

Through media platforms, IM learned that HS has met NS and were even spotted together in a public place. When asked if he would pursue NS seriously, he replied that he had only met her for a few days and he is still trying to know her. IM was relieved with the answer of HS. However, she asked a friend to investigate NS in case HS suddenly decides to make serious moves toward NS.

The investigation shocked IM and she concluded that NS is not a good choice for HS. While she is indeed appealing, IM did not like the idea of HS being too chummy with an alleged kept woman of a public servant and available for booking. IM even went as far as calling NS and telling her that if she needs help, they are willing to lend a hand as long as she stays away from HS so he can focus on his studies. NS agreed, but it was HS who was difficult to talk to.

NS started to reject the calls and texts of HS, which surprised him. His recourse was to visit her and she had no choice but to reveal what transpired between her and IM. As soon as HS reached home, he locked himself in his room and refused to talk to anyone. IM took the chance to talk to HS. She told him that he can date any woman he wants after he graduates. HS continued moping.

Later, IM learned from friends that HS was able to bring NS to their resthouse. After which, HS started telling his friends that he spent the best time with NS. Thus, IM thought that HS must be missing NS so much, but still she refuses to allow him to continue seeing her.

Time passed and IM succeeded in making HS shift his attention. However, she found out that HS was into Emerging Celebrity (EC). Fearing another similar episode with NS, IM changed her strategy. A few phone calls and negotiations, IM arranged for EC to visit HS at home for a one-night stand.

After introducing EC to HS, IM took the rest of the family to a shopping spree. When they returned home, EC had already left and IM hoped that HS had finally gotten over NS. Unlike NS, IM now has control over EC, whom she reminded that the deal was just for one night. Besides, IM knew that EC was not into commitments unlike NS. On hindsight, IM was allegedly caught saying that she sometimes feels a family curse, as the men in her life like cheap women.
