One incident can leave lasting impression, but if the incidents come one after the other, much has to be done to clean up a celebrity’s image. Caught between projects, the camp of Celebrity Actress (CA) had to think of ways to ensure CA remains in the consciousness of the public, which will lead to continuous support for her endeavors. The people behind her tried hard.

When the management noticed that CA’s project was not patronized as expected, they informed CA of the reality. People who have been in the business for a while are aware that one failure can lead to successive ones if not abated immediately. No one want to have anyone undergo failure, especially when investments are involved. As producers have poured money for CA, they expect profit or at lease to recoup their investment.

CA, on her part had to think of a way to increase patronage. Ever Reliable (ER) buddy came into the picture. CA allegedly asked ER to show up in a scheduled event to be with her even for just one day. Then, CA called her loyal fans to take unguarded photos of her with ER. ER played along with the scheme, as his reputation is at stake as well. Besides, this request was only for a day of service.

The plan succeeded up to the part of gaining publicity, but overall, the backlash was unexpected. Instead of positive responses to seeing CA and ER together smiling, social media erupted with accusations of gimmicks. Thus, the plan failed and the project was doomed.

Realizing that even his presence could not save the project, ER could only say that he did his best. He was there when CA needed him, but he could only do so much. Despite the good story and good reviews, the project was a failure and kibitzers are in unison that CA’s image had much to do with the result.
