Arguments Over Agreements

PP is a veteran personality in the local entertainment industry, who has earned the respect of colleagues for doing his job for many years. Allegedly, he gave CC that second look and made his heart feel younger than reality. PP watched CC from afar until introductions were made.
As PP has been in the industry for many years, he already has an extensive network of contacts that could help CC gain fame and flourish in his career. Not only is PP connected to a management, as he also has many friends who can give CC publicity. Meanwhile, OM is a small fry compared to PP.
PP approached the camp of CC and promised an Influential Relation (IR) possible gigs and endorsements for CC. His intention was to manage CC and get OM out of the way. IR was overwhelmed at the possibilities of CC if they take the offer of PP. Besides, PP has been giving gifts to CC to expand his wardrobe.
When OM was asked if CC could get out of his contract, the answer was, of course, negative. OM stressed that he has a live contract.
According to the grapevine, IR and OM are no longer talking to each other. CC, meanwhile, is in a quandary. He is still considered a fresh entrant in the industry and yet, he already has the weight of controversy hounding him.

Attitude Adjustment

Lately, the staff of a show noticed that Top Star (TS) has been quick-tempered and easily irritated at the slightest thing. Even people around her would earn her wrath for just being there. Sometimes, TS would arrive late. The staff became worried because TS is not like that. She’s professional and friendly. However, the change in her attitude became noticeable.
As the staff need to work closely with TS, they would get the curses and the attitude from her. Finally, they asked someone from the team of TS if something was wrong. They found out that the domestic arena was showing cracks, which was unlike the sunny disposition TS and Her Lover (HL) have been showing in public.
TS apparently noticed that HL has been coming home late and spending more time with his friends. He does not even tell her where he’s going when he says he has personal errands. Moreover, TS noticed that the spending of HL has increased. Secretive attitude and growing expenses made TS suspicious that HL might be doing something outside of their marriage. Word even reached her that HL was seen somewhere in the south with a younger and more beautiful woman.
The thought of having her partner cheating her was enough to affect TS and consequently, her anger has reflected on the staff. In addition, TS has dropped her other commitments to other talents, as she deemed them as adding to her headache.
Although the network is big, management learned of the behavior of TS. TS then learned that the big bosses already found out about her attitude. Furthermore, TS heard that management is planning to axe the show if she continues being mean to the staff. After all, the show has not been doing well in ratings and advertisers are few. The management is already thinking of a replacement.
The next taping day, the staff was surprised. TS brought food and was pleasant to them. She even apologized to her personal attendants and the personnel who make sure she looks good on cam. They could only speculate that TS might be afraid to lose the show.
Incidentally, rumors have it that TS sent feelers to another network. Unfortunately, that network was unresponsive. So, TS will just have to stick it out with her present home.
