Needs a Variation

Reinvention is a strategy that most celebrities have to undergo if they want to stay longer in the business and gain more followers. For instance, many singers venture into acting and vice versa. Matinee actors turn into action stars. Female celebrities shift from performing to hosting. However, the most common way to reinvent oneself is physical, that is, getting buffed or sporting a new hairstyle. Network talents, especially, the new ones should always make their fans look forward to something new.
Change is much more inevitable when it comes to the careers of talents who once had all the fame and suddenly found themselves with losing everything they once had. The choice is between staying the same or doing drastic changes to save one’s career.
Former Prized Talent (PT) of a network woke up one morning to the reality that without a backer, he would just be one of the many fishes in the talent pool of a big network. Hence, if he does not shape up or make himself noticed, his career would stop. Lucky for PT, certain executives care for his future even though his present opportunities are no longer as many as before. Over the years, interest has waned in PT even though he has followers and the talent. The management is puzzled as to why PT cannot match the fame of his contemporaries.
One time, the production team of one of PT’s projects conducted a look test. As soon as they saw the photos, they had a hunch on why PT seems to be stagnant. The problem is that his looks since he started remained the same. It was like he discovered the fountain of youth. The drawback is that his present looks retains his stereotyped role as the “good kid.” Moreover, one more look at the photos indicated that PT’s face was more feminine than the face of his leading lady. Thus, PT had to do something about his looks.
When the production team finalized their observations, a memo was allegedly sent to PT to require him to reinvent his image. PT needed to do a drastic makeover or else lose roles that the management would have for him. Hence, with no choice, PT might indeed emerge sporting a new look one of these days.

Getting What She Wants

Although Favorite Actress (FA) seems to be going out with a Steady Companion (SC), she is still keeping her old ways, that is, seeing men on the side. Until sometime ago, FA has kept her love life very private and no one bothered to identify whom she claims to be her Supportive Partner (SP). However, nothing escapes netizens and soon, the identity of SP was revealed. Then, their relationship became threatened and subsequently destroyed, as FA grew fond of Someone Else (SE).
Prior to SP, FA was linked to Cute Hunk (CH) with whom she worked with in a project. Rumors have it that FA was even the cause of the end of the relationship of CH with Another Actress (AA). However, FA and CH did not have any other link when their project was over. After which, not much has been heard about her love life and she did learn to keep everything quietly until the identity of SP was divulged. Soon after, FA and SE became lovers. The relationship between FA and SE did not last even though their followers then hoped the two will end up together.
FA was only single for a brief moment, as she and SC have been hanging around clandestinely. The relationship is not a smooth one in contrast to photos shown in social media. Given that FA is in showbiz, SC’s family was not too keen on her ending up with SC.
Well, another reason for the hesitation can be gleaned from the sense of adventure of FA. According to the grapevine, FA spent private time with Young Hunk (YH). YH and FA worked on a project but they were not reported to have grown fond of each other. Besides. YH has a girlfriend whom he wants for keeps and FA is dating SC. However, such relationships did not deter the two from hooking up. YH was about to leave for a huge project overseas when the private meeting allegedly happened.
Incidentally, FA was even linked to Versatile Talent (VT) who is no longer uncommitted. These days, VT seems to be content with his love life. The innocent image of FA runs in contrast to the promiscuity happening behind the scenes. To each, her own, as the saying goes.
