We have worked with a good number of successful and iconic Filipino artists before Moira. It’s the first time that we encounter this problem from an artist.

The facts are simple- we invited Miss Moira dela Torre to perform her hits and not to play politics. She accepted the gig and we respectfully hosted her here until she left. The venue was packed with gracious Ilocanos who were excited to see her before the devastation of Ompong. Photos and videos will show that Moira had fun on stage, not a hint of unwillingness to perform. We never expected that she would tweet that she is angry for performing at Marcos Fest while we are inundated with the damage of Ompong. Remove all politics and cultural subjectivities and you get the basic and simple issue of courtesy, reciprocal decency, and common sense.

No to Joining

When Desirable Actor (DA) decided that the time was right to commit himself to Talented Personality (TP), he probably did not anticipate how much of his nature he had to give up. Having a partner means making decisions while considering the other, which is very different from the bachelor life DA had before falling hard for TP. Now, all his commitments have to be done without upsetting TP.

Such rule is not easy to follow, especially, when circumstances dictate the flow of events and one is left at the mercy of the moment. During an event, TP came over to support DA. Although she was visible, the night belonged to DA. Prior to coming to the event, TP had anticipated what would happen the moment DA starts walking to the venue. Thus, she instructed the bodyguards to make sure DA would be protected from the poking, pinching, touching, and most specially, the kissing of fans.

The moment arrived and TP decided to stay in the background but kept an eye on DA. As soon as DA appeared, the hordes of female fans were unstoppable. Screams sounded and as predicted, DA was poked, pinched, touched, and kissed by his supporters. TP watched in dismay, as the bodyguards failed to do their jobs. What infuriated TP was not the helplessness of the bodyguards, rather, the reaction of DA arose in TP streaks of jealousy. DA seemed to be enjoying the moment and did not mind the squeezing of his female fans.

As the event progressed, TP stayed with friends until the end. The night was successful and DA did a good job. So, another round of fans came over to congratulate DA for a job well done. TP watched keenly as DA reciprocated the endearment. TP was so dismayed but she could not make a scene at a very public event.

After seeing how DA reacted, TP was displeased and did not want any one else touching her baby. Hence, she told DA that he should skip the after-event party. Poor DA, while his presence would mean so much to the people at the party, he followed TP and went home.

Is Marian Rivera Pregnant?

Recent photo shows that Marian Rivera seems to have a baby bump, prompting speculations that Zia would soon become a big sister. While no confirmation or official announcement has been released by the Dantes family, their followers are excited at the possible date with the stork.

A few months ago, Rivera has been vocal in saying that she and husband, Dingdong Dantes, are trying to have a baby. Zia is three years old and the couple feels that the time is right to have a second child. Rivera even expressed that she wanted another child as her birthday gift (Rivera celebrated her birthday in August) and that she would want a bigger family.

According to sources, the Dantes couple are waiting for the doctor’s go-signal that Rivera is indeed pregnant before they make the official announcement. Allegedly, they do not want to make any premature declarations so as not to be stressed out by the pressure and avoid a similar incident that happened to another celebrity couple, who had to deal with their loss.
