Just Be Game

Whenever male and female talents are paired off by their management, expect their fans to wish they would end up together. Instead of just role playing the boyfriend-girlfriend life, fans would root for the talents to be with each other 24/7. However, the norm is that even if the talents are together in real life, no admission should be done unless the management says so. By publicly declaring that they are committed to each other diminishes the hope of fans to be the one. As long as no one admits to anything, the talents remain desirable.

Nonetheless, the trend seems to be different these days and the norm seems to be the opposite. Several loveteams have broken the practice and have risked their careers, that is, they have admitted to be real. Despite the admission, certain fans will not believe and insist everything is just for show.

Sometime ago, the audience was surprised when Female Celebrity (FC) admitted that she and Male Actor (MA) have officially been together for quite a time. Their loyal followers were elated, as what they have longed for finally came through. For FC, such a relationship would be fitting, as it ends all speculations if MA were indeed true to their loveteam. FC revealed the secret with conviction.

Although the news seemed great publicity, something was amiss. The person most shocked at the revelation was MA, who for several years has been ambivalent on his feelings toward FC despite getting emotional in front of the camera. Allegedly, MA was unhappy with the revelation because the admission was not true at all. While they are together as a loveteam, his heart was with his Non-showbiz Girlfriend (NG). MA brought his concerns to the management, but they could not really do much, as the “secret” was already made public. Besides, the idea was the brainchild of the camp of FC, who thought that admission would be good for their projects. After all, the audience became curious when a Highly Popular (HP) couple finally admitted what their fans long believed. This curiosity translated into money, which is obviously was the camp of FC is banking on.

Hence, MA was advised to just live up to the revelation in front of the camera and fans. The ‘kilig’ factor should be maintained. MA realized that he must obey or else his career would be over. As for NG, she should just continue to be in the shadows and not dare come out. Any item that would ruin the credibility of the revelation of FC would bring an end to the prosperous reputation of her loveteam with MA.
