The thrill of hitting it off with someone can truly put the smile of one’s face and the feelings of young love can be overwhelming. Seeing the person and doing activities with that significant other can inspire and make one move on with life. Things seem bright until a parent notices the extra glow and puts a stop to everything. Thus, the child must decide: pursue young love or obey the elders.
When Young Personality (YP) started coming of age, the public noticed that she’s very attractive and would definitely have a future in the industry. However, YP does not seem to be interested in pursuing a full-blown career yet as she wants to complete her study. Besides, growing up in the limelight, she knows the demands of having a career, the intrigues, and the criticisms.
One day, YP met Fellow Endorser (FE) in one of their projects. FE is equally attractive and knows how to project himself. He seems to be amiable and thus, he hit it off with YP. Soon, the two would go on friendly dates and since YP can be trusted, her parents thought everything was typical. However, a parent’s intuition is strong, and before the fear of any parent could happen, YP and Her Elder (HE) had a talk.
HE reminded YP that she has a goal, which is to complete her studies. HE does not want anything to distract her from her goal, and besides, she is still quite young to confine herself to just one person. The tension was building up, as any teen who is told of her restrictions tends to rebel.
It seems that HE does not like FE for YP for a number of reasons. First, FE barely has nothing to show in his career. After a botched partnership, he has yet to prove himself. With no connection to the industry, FE is just a struggling actor who must compete and prove his worthiness in the network. Second, FE’s parents are overseas and he might have just a different upbringing and views compared to YP. Third, given FE’s background, YP would not have a secured future with him. In other words, FE is not at all well-off nor even has a tenth of what YP’s family has. In addition, HE did not like the idea that the photos of FE and YP imply that they are already together.
Thus, HE told YP to delete all photos with FE in her social media account, as the photos are giving the wrong impression. HE wanted FE to do the same and moreover, YP should stay away from FE. Lucky for HE, YP was not the rebellious type and eventually followed his request or so he thought.
After the talk, HE thought everything was going to be fine. However, YP locked herself in her room and refused to eat for three days. HE felt a tug in his heart and softened up. YP got her way and she and FE spent quality time in an event after. As to whether FE and YP will get serious, their followers will have to wait and see.
