Making a Smarter Move

Everything was set. The location was fixed, the lights and cameras were set, and the actor had briefed the actors on the scene. However, everyone was jittery because Lead Star (LS) was making them feel that she was not inclined to do her scenes immediately. The crew was already in a quandary because LS had not left the room assigned to her and had already missed out on mingling with her co-actors.

As time passed, LS was still making herself unavailable and no one dared to worsen the situation by asking her to shape up. LS was a bankable star and the crew did not want to earn her ire. After all, even if they report that she can be such a problem on the set, her fans will not at all believe them. Her image was far too set to the point that her fans believe her to be perfect. One negative comment on LS will result in a swarm of wrath coming from her numerous followers.

Time was ticking and the taping was not moving because LS was in her attitude. Every delay was causing money and productions do have a deadline. Finally, someone had a bright idea. Someone knocked on the door of LS and told her that Big Boss (BB) was coming over to check on their taping. After a few minutes, LS came out and in character. The crew was elated and the taping started. Hours passed and the taping went on smoothly. However, no BB showed up because the story was merely made up to get LS going.

Even if LS thinks she is intelligent, people who have been in the entertainment industry would be wiser. Considered young in the business, as compared to her contemporaries, LS seems to know how to make the people behind the scenes that she is important. Of course, the crew could only keep the truth as they know that remaining silent on the attitude of LS is the best way to keep their jobs.

Energy Boost on Date Night!

This coming Valentine’s day, even if you have a date, your world will not stop revolving and your day will keep going by the way it does so you will keep working. It’s not even a holiday so if you’re worried that you will pass out on date night because you’re too tired of everything already then fret not because there are lots of ways on how you can at least pull yourself together and have energy boost!

Tips for energy boost after a long day at work:

When you still have a wee bit of time, get a power nap. This will help boost your energy even if it was just a 15 minute nap.

Choose to stay calm the whole day and don’t let stress get to you. When you’re stressed out, you’re more prone to feeling exhausted even if you didn’t exert physical work.

Hydrate and drink more water. The more you replenish the lost fluid, the better you feel physically.

Avoid caffeine intake. Caffeine would just jolt a small amount of energy rather than help you boost it. Instead, look for a supplement that contain combinations of Taurine, Ginseng, Sodium Ascorbate, Vitamin B1, B6 and B12 because these components are known to help provide energy boost and improve alertness and focus without the harmful effects of caffeine. Analyzing His Leaving

‘No one is indispensable’ and ‘You’re only as good as your last project’ are clichés that many celebrities take for granted. While there would be times when a celebrity would have endorsements and projects left and right, a time would come when everything will all be gone. When the fans no longer line up at the box-office, ratings perform dismally, and social media is filled with anecdotes of the negative behavior of celebrities, management and endorsements are all ears. Many celebrities have found themselves in such position and while others have prepared themselves, others have not.

One of the hardest truths to accept for a celebrity is his/her faded star. In other words, there is no more career to speak of as well as hit movies to brag about. For Exasperating Talent (ET), reality hit him hard. While he used to be among the bankable and most trusted talents of his network, he suddenly found himself with no network projects and His Partner (HP) moving away from him successfully. Thus, the question of what went wrong with ET was faced by his management and their answers justified the next move.

Over the past years, ET was very different from the other talents of the management. Those talents would mingle with fans, pose for pictures, and talk to the press nicely. By contrast, ET was aloof and has been reported many times to display arrogance even to his benefactors. Thus, his management had to invest in damage control to save his career. Despite such behavior, ET was still given top projects, but these assignments performed below par. To see clearly the direction of his career, he and HP were given different projects to the disappointment of fans. However, HP proved her bankability, while ET failed. The conclusion was the problem was really with ET, as he could not shake off his negative image to the masses.

Rather than stay at a seemingly dead-end, ET asked to be released from his unexpired contract. With so many new talents waiting for their chance at stardom, the management let ET go without much fuss. After all, ET might end up in the freezer if he stays on. Like many other talents who have left his management, kibitzers are predicting doomsday for ET’s career. For example, with his departure, ET might no longer be prioritized for any teleserye project with the network. Moreover, reuniting with HP would also be farfetched at this point.

As always, time will tell if ET made a good move by leaving his former management. Just as long as he left nicely and no bridges were burned, ET could always return if nothing happens with this development in his career.
