When NT1 met NT2, they started as competitors and eventually developed their friendship as time passed. Both are good-looking and have similar family backgrounds and dreams. Hence, the two eventually hit it off. As they started their careers at the same time, they have become closer. Even the route of their fame seems to be similar. NT1 and NT2 have been paired off with their respective partners, and the studio is simply waiting for the one pair that manages to outlast the other. Thus, the two are also doing their best to make sure they have the staying power and charisma to keep the fans interested and loyal.
Nonetheless, seasoned people in the studio could smell something fishy and that the two are more than best friends. Such behavior is not a big deal in the network as long as everything is kept behind the camera. Any photo or video that confirms rumors on sexuality can place the celebrity in the midst of scandal with the choice of denying or coming out. At least for NT1 and NT2, no such photo or video has emerged, except for the active gaydars of the people in the network.
Incidentally, NT1 and NT2 have been given breaks by the network to test if they are already ripe for the box-office. Despite their efforts, the results were far from impressive for snotty watchers of box-office results, but good enough for newbies. So now, the two are in various shows, photoshoots for magazines, and appearances for endorsements. Such activities could further hone their confidence and increase their appeal to the masses. With network stars moving on, NT1 and NT2 might even show enough grit to fill in the void left by such talents.
