Killed His Love

The shock wore off a few minutes after Stylish Performer (SP) saw the results of the DNA exam. Although the results hurt him, his doubts were finally cleared. Sadly, the child who knew him as “Dad” will have to get used to the idea that SP might not be around as time passes. Moreover, SP finally realized why Attractive Mother (AM) did not consider his marriage proposal.

Sometime ago, SP and AM were the unlikely couple in showbiz. Both were making names in different fields, yet they managed to hit it off and become a couple. SP was devoted to AM and many observers felt that SP truly loved AM. Besides, prior to their being a couple, they were friends, which strengthened the hope that they will end up in the altar. Meanwhile, AM was working on one project after another and was slowly rebuilding her name.

One day, both announced that AM was pregnant and SP was the alleged father. However, their relationship did not work out, but they did have an agreement on their child. As the child was growing up, visits with SP were constant. Later on, SP confided to a close friend that whenever he brings the child out, he could not feel the connection. He feels differently toward the child. SP then got wind of information that someone saw AM and a Non-showbiz Political Personality (PP) in a hotel during the time he and AM were still together and prior to the birth of their supposed child.

Adding more pieces to the puzzle were the observation of SP on how AM is capable of having a structure constructed despite her limited projects in her network as well as lack of endorsements. With so many doubts, SP could not remain still.

Then, during one of their bonding sessions, he took the opportunity to take a swab and turn it over for DNA testing. A few weeks later, his greatest fears were confirmed. He quietly kept the results from AM, but stopped sending support. After months of waiting, AM asked SP for the child support. She was persistent and when SP had enough, he sent a copy of the results. AM stopped calling him and nothing was heard from her end. After letting things cool down, AM apologized to SP, and asked him to remain quiet. The nice guy that he is, SP has not yet given any press conference on what he thought was the truth.
