Just Biased

Stunning Actress (SA) had a very rude realization in a big event when she was asked to do something that offended her. While the crew probably did not think their decision would affect SA, apparently they were not sensitive enough of the implication of their action. The simple request had many implications and one of which stunned SA.

Every year, the female talents of a network all prepare meticulously for the big day. The search for a designer is the first thing in mind, as their look for the occasion should assure their place among the best dressed, not worst dressed. Hence, depending on how much one would want to shine, no expense should be left unturned.

Thus, the team of SA had everything planned out. One of the best designers was assigned to create her outfit for the event. Even how she was invited by a Young Celebrity (YC) was staged and was captured on video to delight fans. No doubt, SA was going to be beautiful that night.

Everything was turning out perfectly. The dress suited her, which meant the look was appropriate for her age. She wore the dress like royalty and everyone who saw her enter the venue warmed up. SA started walking with YC in tow. They walked slowly and lined up for their turn. SA was not at all hurrying up, as those in the latter part of the line could be considered important. In other words, the latter one is in the line, the more important he or she is to the network.

Then, someone told SA and YC to walk faster and overtake Newbie Talent (NT) and Her Partner (HP). SA and YC, who happen to be more senior than NT and HP, could not argue. However, SA was already thinking that being made to walk ahead gives the impression that NT and HP are more important than they are. Considering that her movies are certified box office hits compared to NT and HP, SA could not believe why she was given such instructions. The moment started to irritate SA. Lucky for the crew, no one was around to defend SA, or else, there would have been fuss at the order of walking. For some, the walk may be trivial, but for people who know the implications of order, such as billing in movies, SA has every reason to be irritated.
