Inappropriate Demand

Reluctant Celebrity (RC) impressed an organizer of an event that was to be graced by her presence. The organizer was happy with RC and was thankful that she agreed to the event. At the beginning, RC was hesitant to become part of the entertainment industry, but as time passed, she has gracefully accepted that this is where she belongs.

Coming from a high profile family on both sides of her parents, RC had her destiny in front of her. Living with high profile parents, her childhood was often a source of interest. After all, the public was curious if she managed to get the best genes from her mom and dad. She could have entered showbiz early, as she did have the looks and the stance to become a network talent. However, she opted to finish school first before plunging in the industry.

However, RC was also in the company of high profile movers who dabbled in the activities of the elite and thus, she had to exert effort to be closer to the masses. She had the chance to become closer to the masses, but as she was becoming recognized, RC chose an area concentrate on, and she chose acting along with a hefty network offer.

Once in a while, RC would receive comments about her acting; some were good, others were mean. However, RC did not care, as she was living the life beyond the confines of the industry as well. Despite her two worlds, RC would prioritize activities related to her career, and one of which was the event in which she impressed the organizer.

The organizer wanted to make sure RC would look beautiful in the event, and thus hired a designer to make her gown. The organizer paid a considerable amount for the outfit. A few days before the said event, RC received the gift coming from the designer. She looked at the gown and hinted that she did not like it at all. Then, she went to the shop and told the designer that she wanted a more ornate dress, and was returning the one given to her. Shocked, the designer smiled and puzzled at the action of RC. Then, RC requested that she be refunded the cash payment made by the organizer for the said outfit. After all, she was returning the outfit, anyway. Eyebrows were raised at the gall of RC. The designer turned down the request of RC for a refund, and stressed that the outfit was a gift from the organizer.
