‘Trip ni Kris’ Airs on April 9

The wait is over. Kris Aquino has just revealed that she is indeed going back to her former home via a travel-themed special. The two-hour ‘Trip ni Kris’ will showcase everyday places and provinces, and present food, people, scenery, and other features that would make a place worth visiting. More importantly, the segments will bring out the special from things that are perceived to be ordinary in the location.

A couple of days ago, Aquino posted a teaser that she might be working on a project and that she was back to where she belongs. Naturally, her followers rejoiced because after many months of not being seen on TV, Aquino hinted that she would soon start work. Her later posts expressed how much she has missed work and her apprehension, as she will be with new people. More importantly, she acknowledged that the whole experience was humbling. Still, without giving away the network, the posts had hints, such as ‘…where I belong,’ and heart and rainbow emoticons, which are all related to GMA.

The two-hour special, ‘Trip ni Kris,’ will air on GMA after Kapuso Mo, Jessice Soho, on April 9.

Actor and Hashtags member Ronnie Alonte denied rumors that he and comedian Vice Ganda are dating.

In an interview at the sidelines of his new endorsement on Thursday, Alonte said he and Vice Ganda are very good friends as he asked his critics to stop putting malice to his closeness with the "It's Showtime" host.

“Napakabait na tao ni Vice, sobrang okay kami. Sa lahat ng mga nakakasalamuha ko na same ni Vice, sobrang okay lahat. Mabait ako sa kanya, mabait kami sa isa’t isa. Wala kaming relasyon. Magkaibigan kami ng buo po,” he said.

The “A Love to Last” actor lamented that people are quick to judge gays even if they do not know them personally.

“Yung mga bashers, [may masabi] lang. Grabe nila i-judge 'yung mga bakla. Grabe nila i-judge 'yung mga bisexual or bading. Once na kasama, jowa kaagad, may something kaagad na iniisip,” he said.

Although he is relatively new in showbiz, Alonte has learned the ropes of dealing with his bashers.

“Nagco-comment ako sa kanila, nila-like ko ang mga posts nila, para alam nila na napapansin ko sila, para malaman nila na hindi ako naaapektuhan sa ginagawa nila. Naisip ko na ganito talaga ang buhay. Pinasok ko ito. Sinimulan ko na, mag-a-adjust na lang ako sa kanila,” he said.

At the end of the day, Alonte said he has his good friends from “It’s Showtime” to thank for always giving him moral support.

Secret Intimacy

When Debonair Actor (DA) found a second chance in his career, he and his loyal followers did not expect that the days of his popularity so many years ago would be repeated. Starting early in his career, DA was already exposed to success and working with the best minds of the industry. While enjoying popularity and a stable family life, DA dropped out of the limelight momentarily to seek another career and to raise his family. However, he could not deny the call of the klieg lights,

The packaging of DA as well as the publicity made him as the hottest new actor in town. Thus, his management made him appear to be the most desirable among its roster of actors. However that new fame and reputation all came with a price.

Sometime ago, DA was accidentally found to be with Controversial Celebrity (CC) in a resort. When the story was floated, denials came as expected and both insisted that they had no connection at all for them to be spending time together. However, according to the grapevine, DA dropped CC, who by now has found her man. DA no longer wanted to be involved with CC, as he was enamored with someone else, who, unfortunately, is not his wife.

When DA started to work with Well-liked Personality (WP), the initial fear was their lack of chemistry. However, fans immediately saw the potential of the reel couple and thus, were born a new loveteam. Apparently, the teasing got into both of them, and they developed a special relationship with each other. Between takes, they would disappear and the production did not bother to find out what the two were doing. During this time, WP was on a not so stable relationship with Another Man (AM), and they fought about her closeness with DA. Thus, WP and AM tried to work out their tumultuous relationship until the day they finally decided it was over.

As stars do need to take breaks, DA and WP were seen in the same vacation spot, and both were quick to deny that they had planned anything together. Seeing each other in a place miles and miles away from the country was a mere coincidence, according to them. However, the press statement does not match the stories going one behind that vacation.

Allegedly, the two planned a tryst and DA brought relatives so that whatever plans he would have with WP would not be obvious as well. Booking at separate, but nearby accommodations, DA and WP were able to spend time away from the prying eyes of the public, and just have fun without having to worry about people knowing them.

Even if the two are into something fishy, expect denials. Although WP is no longer committed, the image of DA could be affected if word leaks out that he has been separated from his legal wife.
