Over the past months, Young Talent (YT) has been caught every so often in various controversies that included her personal dealings. Most of these alleged incidents pertained to how she had negatively behaved in various situations that involved work and even, at times, family. Nonetheless, YT kept her composure and relied on an effective way of damage control, which is to keep quiet whenever issues seem thrown her way. After some time, YT would merely smile and project that everything is fine.
However, YT’s attitude has been felt by common people who have seen her berate service providers. In one incident, YT was having her nails done, and while the nail stylist did her best to capture the design YT wanted, the talent was unhappy. Every time, the nail stylists could not get the style that YT wanted, she would show her disgust and throw a tantrum. As a celebrity, her unpleasant behavior had to be absorbed by the poor staff, which included the attendants and other people at the salons.
In another incident, YT was so upset, as she could not find the holder of her contact lens. Then, someone said that YT should just put it in another container, and just look for her holder later. Things were okay, as the missing container was not as critical as a life and death situation. When YT realized that the holder was not placed in her bag, she berated the one who packed her things as soon as she saw that person. Sadly, the attitude of YT toward the simple people who help her out, but falter, is not really desirable. While she might be exerting effort to always become pleasant in front of her co-artists and executives who matter, behind her pretty face is someone who needs a lesson in humility. Her elders could probably remind her that persons, whom she treats badly now, might be the same persons from whom she will need help from later. After all, she is still on her way to establishing a reliable and strong career in the industry.
‘A disagreement or incident involving someone who's not that important to you, like a guy who cut you off in traffic or a rude cashier, is something that should roll off your shoulders. Save the effort for resolving conflicts with the people you cherish.’ - Joel Osteen
