Actress Bella Padilla has broken up with long-time boyfriend, businessman and film producer Neil Arce.

But in an interview after the press conference for "My Deart Heart" on Thursday, Padilla said she and Arce continue to be good friends and that there is no bad blood between them.

"Honestly hindi pa nag-si-sink in sa akin. Parang siguro hindi pa right now dahil siguro busy ako sa trabaho. Nagte-taping ako MWF, nagshu-shooting ako TTHS at nag-aaral ako kapag Linggo. So wala akong time para mag-isip. Baka after ng press con magisip-isip ako," Padilla told reporters.

"Honestly I can see us being friends pa after this at 'yun nga magkatrabaho kami. Marami pa kaming concept na ginagawa together," added Padilla, who is doing the movie "Luck at First Sight" for Arce, whose past productions include Robin Padilla's "10,000 Hours."

Asked if there's still a possibility for a reconciliation, Padilla replied: "Nag-usap na kami. Actually ako 'yung humingi na makipag-usap. Ang dami ko ng nasabi."

Padilla also made an appeal to the public to spare Arce from intrigues.

"Guys, please be nice to him. Kahit ako na po 'yung siraan niyo, kahit ako na lang po. Ayaw ko lang may mabasa pa siya or ma-feel bad tungkol dito," she said.

Padilla's latest project is the primetime drama "My Dear Heart" with Zanjoe Marudo, which will debut on January 23 after "Ang Probinsyano."

"Hindi ko ini-expect na ganoon kabilis ang dating agad ng project at parang sakto lahat ang timing kasi siyempre ginawa ko muna 'yung 'I America,' 'Camp Sawi.' Nagshu-shoot ako ngayon ng pelikula pero pinagtiyagaan nila na sige ayusin natin ang schedule," Padilla said.
