When Following the Heart Did Not Really Matter

Although he comes from a family that comes from a lineage of showbiz personalities, Young Actor (YA) did not enter the industry the moment he realized he has possible connections that could make his career smooth. Even if his parents were teased on having good-looking children, YA did not let such comments influence his decision to get into the craziness of the business. However, when YA reached a certain age, he started to guest in various projects and after a few years, the network noticed him and gave him significant roles.

As YA ventured into the business, his attention was caught by Network Girl (NG), who, like him, has been working in the station for some time. The network took care of NG by giving her various projects that tested and honed her talent. Although she has a following, full fame was still elusive to NG, but still, there is no doubt that she is among the most competent among her peers.

One day, an Elder Relative (ER) of YA realized that YA was going giddy over NG. YA was all excited at seeing NG and he seemed to be very much attracted. However, instead of encouraging YA to pursue NG, she called him for a talk. ER gave YA an ultimatum, which was to stop pursuing NG and concentrate on his career or continue to develop his feelings towards NG and stop his career in showbiz.

Allegedly, as soon as ER felt the effect of NG on YA, she decided to investigate the background of NG. ER felt uncomfortable at not knowing a solid background of NG. Thus, she hired some people to do some sleuthing. What ER found out shocked her because the angelic face of NG was deceiving. Research indicated that NG is not exactly the nice girl, as her sweet onscreen image contradicted her real-life pursuits. The report listed all the relationships of NG, which made ER cringe, as the former had more alleged relationships than ER had in her entire life.

Thus, when ER confronted YA, she used the ‘three-letter’ ‘two-word’ term to describe NG. ER then insisted for YA to think more than twice if he wants to pursue NG given her reputation. After all, NG has a colorful and diverse list of involvement with the opposite sex. ER would definitely not want YA to be added in the list, as it might hamper the building of his career. Convinced by the words of ER, YA dropped the idea and moved on. Given the number of single women who are equally if not more beautiful than NG, YA shifted his attention to someone else, who has been very receptive to his thoughtfulness.
