She’s Just Another Heartbreaker

The cliché has always centered on choosing between love and career for most showbiz personalities. Talents who are just starting out as network talents are often discouraged from having relationships, especially if the objects of affections will do more harm than good for their career. While some talents risk their career for love, they do their best to hide their relationships and deny whenever they are asked of their involvement.

For Artistic Talent (AT), entering showbiz is a natural choice. Born into a family of performers, AT inherited the genes, and thus, her network immediately had big plans for her. In the time of Auto-Tune, the number of young celebrities who have authentic singing talent has dwindled. Therefore, AT was gem and had the potential to be the next big star.

The network started floating AT’s name and she was well received. Her appearances were noticed and commended, and thus, she seemed to be heading toward a stable place in the network. The projects came and much was expected from AT. However, she fell in love, and this love resulted in arguments with her elders. People around her were not in favor of Her Choice (HC), but AT was in love. Soon the elders started imposing rules, which stifled AT, who remained defiant.

Naturally, the consequence of fighting for someone who is not favored will be indicated in the career track. The project where AT had a very good role was cut too soon given the expectations that the said series would last longer. The conflict continued and rumors started to float on the alleged relationship of AT and HC. As the network is known for damage control, no one spoke about AT and all the public saw were her other projects. These events downplayed any rumor on her sexual preference as well. No one dared ask AT, as inquisitors will have to deal with her elder, who will not mince words when she’s crossed.

After a few months, AT resurfaced with various projects, with the obvious support of her station. Thus, this development affirmed that AT had made her choice. Allegedly, she decided to dump HC, even if they had fought hard for their relationship, and AT chose her career. The promise of fame and fortune was too hard to resist. Like any person who has experienced hurt, HC is allegedly not taking the breakup well. Nonetheless, HC has no choice, but to move on and live. Young as they are, life holds much promise.
